"I recently stayed at Hotel Clad during my trip to the Fuji area, and it was a wonderful experience. The location is truly unbeatable—perched on a hilltop with breathtaking views of Mt. Fuji, especially at sunrise and sunset. Waking up to that iconic silhouette was absolutely unforgettable. The hotel itself strikes a perfect balance between modern comfort and serene simplicity. My room was clean, well-appointed, and designed with a minimalist aesthetic that made it feel both calming and functional. The large windows made the most of the surrounding nature, and I appreciated the attention to detail in both the amenities and layout. One of the highlights was the onsen. It was such a treat to relax in the hot spring baths while gazing out at Mt. Fuji—an experience that felt both peaceful and luxurious. The onsen facilities were clean, well-maintained, and never overly crowded. The hotel is also conveniently connected to the Gotemba Premium Outlets, making it easy to enjoy a bit of shopping or grab a bite without venturing far. Despite this proximity, the hotel maintains a very tranquil atmosphere, which I really appreciated. Overall, Hotel Clad is a perfect base for anyone looking to explore the Fuji area in comfort. Whether you’re there to hike, shop, or simply take in the views, it delivers a serene, scenic, and satisfying stay."

"Business style room that is ok sized for the price u pay. Staff was helpful to move our items up to our room prior to check in. They offer an eco friendly room cleaning option, and if selected, you will receive tokens for a free can of beer. The hotel is surrounded by many restaurants and easily accessible by car. There is free onsen but I didn't manage to try"

"Отель действительно старый, но отношение персонала и местоположение очень хорошее. Рядом с Gotemba station, удобно пешком. Рядом есть супермаркет Bigday. На ужин покормили бесплатным удоном с карри, завтрак отдельно выкупила за 550 иен и позавтракала с видом на фудзи. Из огорчений: очень холодный номер, не было горячей воды, сказали что технические неполадки. Персонал предложил заселиться в отель поновее с горячей водой бесплатно, но я отказалась, т.к. был уже вечер и добираться было почти 1,5 км. В городе по вечерам почти нет ламп, немного страшно одной гулять."

"一番のベストポイントは、ポット(ケトル)が金属製の大きめコップ型なことです。洗いやすい形状となっており洗われていない心配がなく清潔感があり本当に助かりました。 朝食はコーヒーサーバーで飲めて良かったです。 御殿場駅から行きやすく、またコンビニも近くにあり、ロケーションは最高です。何故かサービスで夜食もあり、今回はいただきませんでしたが最高です。 人によっては注意すべき点は、部屋の照明がオレンジだったこと(洗面所は白)、共同ふろ場・脱衣所は小さめなこと程度です。"
