Hotel in zona Bury Knowle Park, Oxford

Hotel situato in buona posizione, il palazzo si presenta bene all’esterno mostrando un carattere storico. Gli spazi comuni all’interno (hall, scale, ascensore, corridoi) sono poco illuminati, con arredamento troppo scuro, pesante e vetusto (non antico!). La stanza era piccola e certamente non all’altezza degli standard di un 5 stelle: moquette macchiata, muri sporchi e rovinati, lenzuola e copriletto non stirati, gli infissi in legno delle finestre erano scrostati e rovinati, il bagno troppo piccolo sebbene pulito e funzionale. Perfino la porta di ingresso alla stanza era storta, così come il pavimento e la porta dell’armadio. La vista della camera affacciava su un cortile interno maltenuto. A ciò si aggiunge la mancanza di cura dei dettagli, altro requisito essenziale di un hotel a 5 stelle. Unica caratteristica in linea con un hotel 5 stelle è il prezzo. In definitiva, questo non è per niente un hotel 5 stelle, chi cerca tale tipologia di hotel deve dirigersi altrove; questo hotel può andare bene a chi cerca un hotel 3 stelle, spartano e senza pretese ma con un prezzo assai elevato per ciò che offre. La posizione dell'hotel è buona, a quattro stazioni di autobus dal Teo College, a circa venti minuti a piedi. La stanza è anche grande, questo letto di tipo camera è molto grande, e si sente a 2 metri.Quattro posti sono stati fermati. La stanza ha due letti da divano. Non l'ho visto. L'immagine mostra il piano di sopra e di sotto, in realtà, ma la superficie è abbastanza grande, l'hotel ha aggiunto due letti piccoli. Il riscaldamento è buono, la temperatura della stanza è comoda, la finestra è una fattoria, un senso di campo molto. La colazione è regolare. La mancanza di bellezza e cinese, il fronte è molto timido, nessuno ha portato il bagaglio. Poi, in seguito, un funzionario ha incontrato un membro del personale sulla strada della stanza per vedere che ho portato la mia valigia e ho preso quattro sacchetti molto divertenti. Mi ha mandato nella stanza, molto grazie! L'hotel è ben igienico, le lavande e le lavande sono molto pulite, e il letto è molto pulito. In generale, è soddisfatto.

Short walk from the bus station. Nice hotel by a river. Clean. Front desk staffs friendly and helpful. Reasonable price for hotel in Oxford area. Buffet breakfast is acceptable but not much choices.

Questo Oxford Express Hotel è simile al Motel 168 e all'Home Inn di Shanghai. Le camere sono compatte, piccole e raffinate per quanto riguarda gli standard. È comunque ottimo per viaggi d'affari. È sicuro, pulito e ordinato. È a 40 minuti a piedi da Oxford City. Se non vuoi andare, c'è una fermata dell'autobus di fronte all'hotel per 2 sterline. Il prezzo di partenza è una corsa in taxi dalla stazione ferroviaria e dalla stazione degli autobus. Ci sono molti centri commerciali e hotel tra cui scegliere. L'unica cosa è che i prezzi sono un po' come le montagne russe. Il prezzo è di una camera al giorno, da 680 yuan a notte a 295 yuan solo un giorno in mezzo!

Ho sentito che è un hotel gestito da un proprietario cinese. L'esperienza è fantastica, l'ambiente è bellissimo, il riscaldamento è sufficiente, pulito e silenzioso, la colazione è ricca e il personale è molto entusiasta.

I booked this hotel for a weekend get away foe me and my partner. It was an early birthday treat, i advised the hotel this upon booking and they were fantastic enough to put a banner up and left a few little goodies for her which was amazing, very nice touch. The hotel staff were friendly, polite and courteous. Would definitely look at booking again in the future if we are down that way again.

Ho avuto una grande esperienza all'Holiday Inn Pear Tree Oxford, il personale era molto amichevole, utile e aperto a chat, in particolare il manager che ha dato al signor alcune buone raccomandazioni sui pub per mangiare a Oxford, La signora che mi ha controllato e un gentiluomo che lavorava per controllare con chi ho avuto una bella conversazione e conosce la città da dove vengo. Le strutture sono eccellenti e di lusso, con bar, zona da pranzo e lobby molto pulito e rilassante. La mia camera era molto elegante, pulita con TV a schermo grande, aria condizionata e caldaia privata con sacchetti di tè e caffè, la camera da bagno era anche molto pulita. Raccomando vivamente a chiunque di rimanere qui se nella zona di Oxford e voglio un soggiorno tranquillo e rilassante con un ottimo servizio clienti.

We stayed for two evenings in May to visit Blenheim palace. We had two rooms, both superior, one on the first floor of the pub and one leading out to the front. Both rooms were beautiful; the one outside had very low ceilings and beams (ok for us as we’re not tall), with a big clawfoot bath and a walk in wardrobe. It also had the most stunning fireplace that backs on to the one in the pub. The other room had a huge 6ft bed and a very big walk in shower. Both were incredibly comfortable and we slept well both nights. We ate at the pub both evenings; the first night a young chap was managing the restaurant, he and the team did a phenomenal job. The service and the food was superb. He second evening we shared the steak (we had two between the four of us) and it was amazing. Again the food and service was fabulous. On the Saturday we were the only ones eating breakfast, the service was prompt and the food delicious. However the breakfast on the Sunday was an absolute disaster; the chap who seated us (I didn’t catch his name but he had an overseas accent) took our order and then we waited…. We waited and waited as he seated others, took their orders and their breakfasts came while we waited. The room wasn’t full, there were about 5 other tables seated (and he walked past us several times and looked at the table). When we asked him, he blamed the kitchen then went to find out what had happened. He came back and apologised and said it would be with us shortly (to be clear, two of us were only having toast!) only for us to have to chase again. An hour had gone by and we still had no breakfast (every other table had come and gone by then. After chasing a second time, he brought out one cooked breakfast (with the wrong eggs) and an omelette (the other order was for poached eggs on toast), oh and then the toast! We explained this was wrong so he blamed the kitchen again and then said he’d get them to make poached eggs but we said we’d rather not have rushed poached eggs (and to be honest it had been over an hour, we had to get off). There was an almighty row going on between him and the kitchen (I imagine the order simply hadn’t made it and then he’d guessed). We were gutted, it had been such a lovely stay with two fabulous meals and great service and it ended like that. We were told that a guest had a flat battery and they were trying to help out with that, but to me there’s no excitement for that level of service in a breakfast room where only 5 tables have taken breakfast. When I checked out he apologised it did not make eye contact. I really wanted to be writing a positive review and like I said the majority of the stay was super, to the point we’d discussed returning g. However that wouldn’t happen now, which is a shame.

This is without doubt THE best hotel I have been to. The food is delicious. The room was comfortable and tastefully decorated. There is a lovely relaxed atmosphere but what really makes this place special are the staff who are so polite and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. A special mention must go to Amy, Louis and Rory who really looked after us and made all feel very special.
