Somerset Gift Getaway Farm

This is a little piece of heaven just outside Swellendam. As soon as we arrived I told my family that they would have to go home without me because I was never going to leave. The setting feels like a scene out of The Hobbit, with verdant meadows and friendly curious farm animals. The space is beautifully utilised in Rose Cottage, with every need attended to. We loved the simple and tasteful decor in Rose Cottage and our friends were also delighted with Little Bushbuck. I can't wait to book a longer stay and would like to try out all the cottages available. Swims in the little lake were the best, especially in the intense heat. Thank you to Manager Tanya for making sure we were comfortable.

If you are ever looking for an amazing getaway not to far from Cape Town ( Swellendam) this is the place to go! Perfectly priced! Lots of activities for both adults and children! Plenty of space, just the most perfect getaway! We stayed in Bushbuck cottage and Leorie cottage those are the 2 we will book into again! Slept 2 families with total of 3 kids. Has all the modern facilities without taking away from a farm style holiday.

Upon arrival the mountain views was breathtaking. I couldn't believe myself having that amount of greenery around and listening to a waterfall meters away flowing 24 hours. Partially off the grid with steady wifi but no television which was such a bonus. Amazing fireplace, horses grazing few meters away, flowing river down stream and I will come back.
