We loved our stay at Wildehondekloof! The morning game drive was an unforgettable experience, with breathtaking views of wildlife, especially during coffee among the giraffes and elands. A private hike was a perfect way to explore, learning about wild plants and enjoying nature up close. The friendly staff took great care of us, with Hannelies and Elizabeth standing out for their exceptional hospitality. We would definitely return!

Our family was looking for a tranquil nature breakaway without sacrificing comfort and style, and this is exactly what the lodge offered. The house was very neat and modern and the service was impeccable! Delicious food, Nyalas grazing on our doorstep, and the game drive was our highlight! Even with a little rain, the guide kept driving patiently to give us a first-class experience of game-watching. I think as South Africans, we can sometimes feel estranged at lodges catering for tourists, but at Wildehondekloof we were all treated like royalty! We will certainly visit again and recommend it to everyone looking for a peaceful getaway.

Setting between the mountains was food for our soul. warm welcome by staff. food delicious. Tame buck wondering in the grass Room luxurious and spacious Even catered for me with food allergens lots of hiking trails . A place to recommend.

Our stay at Wildehondekloof was a very special experience. The friendly staff was kind and the service was exceptional. The scenery is unique and so tranquil We saw a variety of game and even a Njala right outside out door. We're looking forward to returning to experience star gazing and explore more of the surroundings. Highly recommended.

The room was fantastic, the food was delicious and the staff were all wonderful. We stopped off for one night on our way back to Cape Town and we were sorry we couldn’t stay another night. I highly recommend a visit to Wildehondekloof! We didn’t have time to do a game drive, but we’ll do so next time!

Wildehondekloof was recommended to us by people we met last time we visited South Africa. With a maximum of 24 guests it’s small with amazing personal service from the lovely staff. We went on a morning game drive and a morning bush walk, both of which were included in our 3 night DBB rate. We found it so relaxing here we were reluctant to leave and certainly will return.

We stayed for 2 nights here and wished we had had more time. Everything was perfect - the scenery was stunning, the food and accommodation was first class, and the service wonderful. The morning game drive with Quentin was an experience never to be forgotten and a highlight of our stay in South Africa. The early evenings were so special and peaceful with Nysa, Impala and Wildebeast grazing on the lawns right outside our room. Definitely a place to come back to on our next visit to SA.

Another fabulous stay at our favourite place, beautiful as always, impeccable service and wonderful food, not to mention the surroundings! The ideal place for relaxing, walking and gave drives. One of the most beautiful Karoo getaways.

Were with four friends and had a wonderfull time at the Wildehondekloof. Everybody of the staff was very very kind. The rooms were amazing beautifull and complete. Opening your curtains in the morning and to see the Antilope's on directly before your window. The gamedrive's were amazing good (Quentin) Spectaculair drives and beautifull sunset! The breakfast, lunch and diners were excellent. We had only one problem. Our stay was to short (only 2 nights)
