Oasis Punt-West Hotel & Beach Resort

The house was just wonderful, on a beautiful spot directly near the Grevelingen. Looking around it was just water. The house is very, very spaceful and connected with nature , dunes and waterside. The house was equiped with the best furniture and beds. We had a great experience and we were very lucky to spend the weekend in this lovely place!

In the afternoon on one of the hottest September days (9/9/23) I can recall, we waited 40 mins for a drink Our restaurant Table that was booked months in advance for 7:30 was not there and had to be made up. Sat down at 7:45. Order wasn’t taken until..8:05. After being “given” two bottles of water as small compensation for the excessive wait time, by the chap who we assumed was supposed to be “managing” the restaurant and who I voiced my complaints to, his female colleague who appeared to be one of the few staff doing any work involved in actually taking orders and delivering food to customers, came over to our table and, apologising for the presence of two bottles of water we had not ordered, promptly took them away. My wife fetched a pepper mill from another table which unfortunately someone had spilled some unknown liquid into, and without realising, seasoned her carpaccio with an unpleasant brown liquid. For some reason we paid for our meal. In hindsight we should not have. The few staff on duty failed to communicate with, or support each other, and seemed to be prioritised in favour of a wedding party over regular customer service. We saw at least two other couples walk out. Our apartment had the smell of dogs and the shower totally flooded the bathroom due I assume to a blocked drain. Also the bins had not been emptied since the previous occupiers left which begs questions about the quality of cleaning. Finally ********** who we booked through, states that there are 20 units on site whereas there are nearly 100. So not as quiet as one might expect. We shall not be returning

Für ein angepriesenes Luxus Ressort fehlt noch einiges.Gebucht war ein Studio Familiale 4 Pers. Land u Wasserseite.Es sind 2Studios mit Verbindungstür was soweit gut ist.was ins sehr gestört hat ist dass es keine Kochgelegenheit gibt, und uns kurz vor Anreise mitgeteilt wurde dass das Restaurant ebenfalls geschlossen hat.Somit muss man, sofern man Essen gehen möchte jedesmal mit dem Auto mindestens 10 min fahren muss. Es ist weder ein Hotel noch ein Ferienhaus.Die Einrichtung ansonst ist standard, auch hier kein Luxus.Die Rezeption ist notdürftig aus dem Restaurantgebäude in ein Container gewandert und leider auch nur stundenweise besetzt.Tagsüber kann es schon sehr laut am Wasser werden, da viele nicht Gäste dann von ausserhalb kommen. Hier gibt es leider keine Kontrolle oder gar ein Verbot.Entsprechend ist der Hotelparkplatz dann auch mal sehr voll, dieser wird dann auch gerne mal von Wohnmobils genutzt.Hier sollte das Management mal überlegen ob dies den zahlenden Gästen gerecht wird.Die Anlage liegt sehr weit von Ouddorp entfernt, mit dem Rad gerne mal 30 min, Auto gute 10 min bis ins Zentrum oder zum Strand.Es fehlt hier meines Erachtens ein richtiges Konzept.wer einen Aufenthalt in einem Ferienhaus sucht soll entweder die sehr teuren Villen buchen( immer noch mit dem Lärmproblem der Nichtgäste) oder woanders was buchen.
