Hotel in zona Carlingwood Shopping Centre, Ottawa

There are 2 things this hotel has going for it...the Koena Spa and Kota restaurant. Other than that, the property is tired and dated, and the staff is sp**** and unable to solve the simplest issues. I booked a weekend getaway for myself and 2 friend. We booked a suite with 2 queen beds for our stay and made reservations with Koena spa. This was a Saturday overnight stay. The room was satisfactory for our purposes however the hallways were dingy and the room doors all the way down the hallways were damaged and peeling. One of the elevators was not aligning on the floors so you had to be careful not to trip when stepping in or out. Also, the front desk staff was not super welcoming or engaging. I have stayed at several other Doubletree properties and there is usually a warm welcome (including warm cookies) and that was not the case at all at this location. The room itself was clean but dated circa early 2000s. I stayed at this hotel a decade ago when it was an independent property and the decor/furniture has not changed a bit. When we arrived back from dinner, neither tv worked in the suite. One didn't even have power. We tried to contact the front desk from the room phone several times with no answer. Finally, I went down to the desk and the desk agent had no idea what to do to help as she indicated the maintenance staff was gone for the day. She offered batteries for the remote, which was not the issue. She noted the room number and indicated someone would look at it the next day...we were only staying one night. The location is excellent due to the adjacent Koena Spa. A quick trip down the elevator and you are right there at the spa entrance. A relaxing experience spending the whole day in the hot-cold cycles. In the lobby, the Japanese fusion restaurant, Kota, is another bonus. Great food and service. The bartender was very engaging and fun and the wait staff was excellent. Delicious menu and a beautiful terrace overlooking the spa deck and sunset. Overall, the spa and restaurant balanced out the tired hotel and subpar service. If you can book a promo for $150 or less it's fine. Otherwise, I would look at an Ottawa hotel.

This was my first-time stay at reStays Ottawa. I booked four suites for a team business trip in April 2023 (2- and 3-night stays). Very glad to have chosen this hotel over my other go-to's! This is now my Ottawa favourite and I highly recommend it for the following reasons: - Value: Great for this calibre of amenities (spacious, new, clean, modern in-suite furnishings, well-equipped kitchen, and thoughtful provisions, terrific meeting spaces, public amenities - what a view on the 12th floor). Comfortable bedding for several nights of good sleep. - Service: Front desk staff (Josh, Mark) were very helpful with our requests. - Location: Excellent! Short walking distance to Parliament, Rideau Centre, Byward Market, etc. Whether for short or longer stays, I highly recommend this gem of a downtown Ottawa hotel.

Meh. Not bad at all, but not great either. Given everything is self-service, I would expect they would pass on more of a cost savings. The price and quality is comparable to a Super 8. A little edge for one here, a little edge for the other there - overall pretty similar value - except everything at Sonder is self-service, like an AirBnB, and zero amenities. Given this, in the future when I'm staying budget, I'll look to Super 8 or similar. For example, I was travelling with family. You can only book one room at a time. After we booked I called a central number to ask if we could have adjoining rooms. At first he said he couldn't help at all since the room allocation is done by computer. After some light encouragement he did at least get us on the same floor.

I vantaggi sono buoni e vicini alla montagna del Congresso.L'hotel e le strutture della stanza sono troppo vecchie, le porte sono rotte e il giardino è anche giallo.La stanza è molto piccola, e il giardino gratuito è anche molto piccolo.Il livello nazionale complessivo di tre stelle.La stanza è molto scarsa e la ruota è molto guanciata. Non dovrebbe più vivere in futuro.

Rimai al Novotel per una settimana all'inizio di febbraio 2023 mentre partecipavo a una conferenza presso il vicino Westin. Ho prenotato per un prezzo davvero basso tramite cavo. Dopo un piacevole check-in, mi eccitavo di entrare in un grande posto al 8° piano con un posto separato e una TV molto grande. La stanza era molto pulita, anche se quando ho imballato prima di check-in, ho trovato alcuni oggetti sotto il letto che non appartenevano a me. La posizione era perfetta, proprio oltre il Rideau Centre e il West/Conferenze Centre e a pochi passi verso i palazzi del Parlamento, Sparks Street e Byward Market. Il mio unico complice è che le pareti devono essere di carta sottile, perché ho sentito il grilletto dell'ascensore e le conversazioni in sala da casa mia, e sono stato anche lì per quattro ore durante un'uscita di potenza la sera. Immagino che l'uscita fosse inschedata, ma c'era molta confusione e nessuno al divano davanti quando è avvenuta. L'hotel condivide un edificio con un ufficio DND che lo ha confuso lasciando l'edificio dalle scale, mentre la scala porta ad un'entrata che legge ”L'allarme DND sarà suonato”, ci ha voluto un tempo per scoprire come uscire dalle scale.

La sala e la cucina sono molto grandi, ci sono utensili da cucina e cibo, e se vuoi cucinare è molto conveniente.La piazza del ristorante del centro commerciale Redau accanto ha due riso e riso cinese, adatto per il tè cinese. Il paesaggio fuori finestra è anche buono. Passeggiare per più di mezz'ora al palazzo del governatore, andare alla montagna del Congresso per un minuto, non lontano da ogni attrazione, c'è un supermercato di loblaws a cinque minuti.L'unica svantaggio è passare la serata con un autobus, un po'solo timido.

La stanza è pulita, tranne lo spazio da tavola un po 'troppo piccolo. Il colazione è buono soprattutto le uova bollite che erano senza la coperta. Mi piace la varietà di caffè fornito: leggero, medio e forte. Ho preso la versione forte e ha un gusto molto buono anche senza zucchero e latte. La posizione è molto conveniente con un ampio parcheggio. Il personale è amichevole e utile

Mi piaceva questo hotel! Un po' lontano dal sentiero battuto, ma vale la pena, a causa di buon prezzo e vicinanza a Tanger Outlets e l'autostrada. Ho visitato due volte ora e sarò sicuro di prenotare di nuovo quando necessario. Pros: Le camere sono di dimensioni molto decenti, e l'hotel è appena aperto da questa recensione, quindi tutto è brillantemente pulito e nuovo. I letti sono molto comodi e i bagni sono bellissimi. Cons: La TV potrebbe essere un po' più grande, e mi dispiace che, nonostante i materiali di marketing al contrario, non siamo riusciti a collegare la TV attraverso il mio account YouTube, come ho potuto fare in altri hotel, ma è stato un piccolo disappunto rispetto al Dic La mia più grande preoccupazione è quanto velocemente la porta dell'ascensore a destra si chiude senza avvertimento; mi ha fatto un buono mentre venivo a camminare, e mentre posso toglierlo.e spogliarlo, se fosse stato un bambino che potevano essere gravemente feriti. Per favore, controllalo. In sintesi, consiglio questo hotel a chiunque voglia un posto pulito, tranquillo, recentemente costoso per soggiornare mentre visita Kanata 😁

È buono, dovrebbe avere un servizio di navetta indietro e indietro al Centro di pneumatici canadese nel centro dove si deve usare i taxi perché non ci sono passeggiate molto poco professionali in quel modo
