An amazing experience from the moment we arrived. The top suite is so peaceful and comfortable. Sat by the pool enjoying the scenery after a delicious homemade breakfast. The fresh baked coffee cake was the best I’d ever had. The inn keepers add to the welcoming feeling with their personal attention and kindness. A truly special inn that is a vacation in and of itself.

There is something special about the Devonfield Inn. I felt a sense of tranquility as soon as I arrived. The inn is stunning, especially the historical elements that have been so carefully preserved. My room was beautiful and immaculate. I slept with the windows open each night, listening to the soft sounds of nature and the fountain below, and I woke up to a spectacular view of the mountains each morning. Breakfast was fantastic, including the French toast and the pineapple rum cake. Doug was kind enough to provide historical information about the inn, including the book Blueberries for the Queen, and a list of places to visit nearby. The staff followed his lead with their hospitality and outstanding service. I left feeling refreshed and grateful for such a wonderful experience, and I am looking forward to returning.

Charm and comfort galore - you will be happy you came! From the minute we stepped through the front door until the moment we reluctantly left, Doug and Jim thought of every last detail. The grounds draw you outside and encourage relaxing. The Devonfield will stay on our list of destinations.

Thanks to a Christmas gift certificate from our daughter and son in law, we celebrated our anniversary at the Devonfield Inn. Doug and Jim are wonderful and made us feel right at home. Breakfast was delicious and the cookie jar of mint chocolate chip cookies was a daily treat. Great place to stay and worth a return visit.

We recently enjoyed a lovely overnight stay at the Devonfield Inn. What a delight! Doug and Jim were very friendly and gracious hosts. Our room was immaculate and the inn was charming. We especially enjoyed the complimentary cocktail hour with piano music and the exceptional breakfast. Our stay was too short; we are looking forward to returning!

This in is a large, beautiful and well-maintained property. The antiques are beautiful as well and it’s a very comfortable place to stay. We stayed in the Collins suite that had a wood-burning fireplace, which I loved so much. Doug was extremely friendly and welcoming, and the breakfasts were excellent. it was also very quiet and we liked that too. My husband and I go to many bed-and-breakfasts and this is an excellent one.

This was our 2nd stay at the Devonfield. To our absolute pleasure it may have been better than our last visit. Everything is just absolutely perfect. From the room, with a wood burning fireplace and jet tub, to the delicious breakfast and wonderful hosts, everything is just wonderful. Can’t wait to go back!

We last stayed at the Devonfield Inn five years ago and gave it a 5-star review. We expected the same excellent experience this time and we weren't disappointed. Everything was top-notch from the communication before our arrival to check-out. Doug and Jim have thought of everything so you don't have to. Our room was fantastic (and quiet) as was the daily breakfast. We hope to return with much less time between stays.

Doug and Jim go above and beyond to make guests feel right at home. Delicious breakfast (Jim makes the best breads and dips). The hose and the grounds are beautiful and it’s perfectly located near some of the best places in the Berkshires. We will be back again!
