I booked this place last minute on *********** after deciding to extend our time by a few days in Orlando. The options were slim pickings but after watching some YouTube reviews and such we decided to do it. My family and I checked in on a Saturday for 2 nights. I called 2 hours prior to the 4pm check in to see if the room was ready as they offer early check in if available. I was informed the room had been ready for quite sometime now and we could head over and get checked in immediately. Upon our arrival everything seemed great. It was clean and nice looking, the lobby was nice as was the gated community feature. After unloading our items we started seeing red flags before even getting to the room. The elevator up to the room was in poor condition. The appearance of the doors to the different units were worn down and beat up looking. Upon entry into room I was not impressed. We scooped out the rooms and bathrooms and immediately started seeing issues. In the main shared bathroom the tub had what I thought was chips in the bottom of it and turned out to be large pieces of dirt. There were also NO towels. In the main bed bedroom the safe would not lock. The issues only got bigger from there. The living room furniture had crusted food smears on it, several low areas on the walls had bright orange maybe Cheeto smears from a small child with maybe Cheeto fingers. The giant mirror hanging in the entry way had hot Cheeto or taki smeared all over it. Absolutely disgusting!!! I am a mom of 3 I get it kids eat they get yucky and touch stuff BUT also as a former housekeeper who has spent years working in a hotel this was unacceptable. In the kitchen the cabinets had really old spills running down them including some gooeyiness running down the front of the dishwasher. I immediately called the front desk and gave them a list of issues with the cleanliness and they apologized and said someone would come fix it all. I advised we were going to the pool area for a few hours and would be back. The nice girl on the phone assured me it would be taken care of. My family changed into swim suits and headed to the pool. Upon arriving at the pool it was nice set up. However the type of people that were mainly there were not the type I would prefer to have my kids around. It was a rather “rough crowd” I am an African American/Hispanic woman and the people that were at that pool were animals. It was very unappealing, however we kept to ourselves found an empty corner in the pool and made the best of it. At the end of our pool time my husband who used to be a life guard years back had to pull a baby out of the water not even 2 yrs old from the pool near where he was standing because the parents just were not watching and she did not come back up after jumping in. After he grabbed her out and looked around for her parents he gave the baby back to them and instead of making sure she was ok the mother starts yelling at the dad that he was suppose to watch her and they conti

Come è una parità di tempo/alloggio, immagino che la vostra esperienza possa variare. Abbiamo avuto fortuna con il nostro, immagino, un bel posto pulito e ragionevolmente prezzi. Conosciamo anche i proprietari che erano carini. Non si è davvero occupato troppo delle strutture, ma tutti i membri del personale che abbiamo incontrato erano carini.

L'inizio non è stato dei migliori: la ragazza alla reception ha cercato di addebitarmi, oltre al costo della camera+servizi come da prenotazione via Booking, anche una caparra di 240 dollari per ogni giorno di permanenza. Per fortuna la mia carta di credito ha rigettato il pagamento di più di 2000 dollari o sarei rimasto al verde per il resto della vacanza. Dopo aver capito di aver sbagliato mi ha prospettato di dover pagare la tariffa di Booking (che include i servizi) più i servizi stessi, dicendo che ”loro non sanno cosa fa Booking”. Bè Booking lo sa, per fortuna, ed era stata precisa nell'elencare le spese, informati mia cara. Alla fine mi hanno fatto l'addebito corretto, pur con l'esagerata caparra di sicurezza di 200+ dollari (alle Florida Keys in un hotel migliore me ne han presi 50, cosa credete che faccia, che dia fuoco alla camera?). La seconda brutta sorpresa è stato il 'complimentary shuttle' per i parchi Disney: solo due navette (una verso Magic Kingdom e una Hollywood Studios) a orari inutili (ben oltre l'orario di apertura, ottimo per arrivare e trovare già code infinite a tutte le attrazioni...). A questo punto non mettetele e non pubblicizzatele! Abbiamo dovuto arrangiarci pagandoci le corse con Lyft e il parcheggio dell'auto a noleggio di tasca nostra. Per il resto, hotel nella norma, con le solite dotazioni interne (caffè al mattino, negozietto, acqua per le borracce), camere spaziose (la nostra era una quadrupla), piscina, vasca idromassaggio perennemente occupata fino a tarda ora da corpulente famiglie, e il pomeriggio il fiume lento con i ciambelloni (e relativo bagnino). Mai provato il ristorante messicano interno, e nei pressi c'è un ottimo posto dove fare colazione (Perkin's) e poco altro. In definitiva alla fine non siamo stati male (6 notti), ma per andare ai parchi Disney cercherei un hotel con un migliore collegamento shuttle incluso. Se invece si aveva già intenzione di andare ai parchi con mezzi propri (e pagare i 25 dollari per il parcheggio giornaliero) aggiungerei un pallino.

La signora che ci ha aiutato al banco di servizio era scortese e molto scortese. Abbiamo guidato da Dallas a Orlando con un uhaul che abbiamo prenotato 2 notti ma non siamo riusciti a fare la prima perché eravamo ancora in rotta. Non voleva darci la nostra camera e ha detto che la prenotazione è stata cancellata perché non ci siamo presentati per la nostra prenotazione. Per farla breve, abbiamo dovuto chiamare il direttore che è stato così gentile da aiutarci e ci ha dato la nostra camera.
