Hotel in zona Balenciaga(Hankyu Umeda 3F), Osaka

I spent 6 nights in Best Western Osaka. I was traveling with my daughter who is 12 years old. This is our first time in Osaka and we wanted a hotel near Shinsaibashi-Suji Shopping Street and Dotonbori. Best Wester is around 4 short blocks from Shinsaibashi-Suji street and around 9 blocks from Dotonbori. It's a pretty good walk and because Shinsaibashi-Suji street is under a cover, you have shade for the summer sun and cover for the rain. Another reason I picked Best Western is that it has a laundry room but there's only two washers and two dryers. The staff there speaks English and they make an effort to clean your room everyday. I was working while travelling and both myself and my daughter woke up very late. They would call our room to ask when we would like our room to be cleaned but be aware, their last cleaning is 2PM. Oh yeah, they are steps away from the metro.

I really love this hotel due hotel room rate is so reasonable n cheap, much better than other hostel or nearby hotel. Quite close to the shopping area 心齋橋, not too far away from Namba station. Room is not very big, but quite comfortable, clean and tidy

Perfect hotel to explore Osaka. Pros - Free daily entrance to SPA World which should be one of the top attraction in Osaka. Can even stay beyond midnight til 8am the next morning. - location is just next to mrt and Shinseikai is just outside the entrance. Photogenic spot right from the entrance and many things to eat in Shin Sei Kai - Free entrance to mini water theme park in Spa World but take note that the rental of float for lazy pool is chargeable. Bring your own float if you want to use the lazy pool. Water Slides are chargeable and there is an exclusive outdoor swimming pool that is also chargeable. Only the general indoor pool is not chargeable. - free breakfast spread is welcomed and nice. But they don’t change the menu and after 4 nights, it will get boring. - rooms and hotel looks newly renovated and comfortable to stay. - Karaoke rooms are good fun and updated song lists even for Mandopop! Cons - Lots of chargeable facilities like Table Tennis, Karaoke, even the Hot Stones Sauna is chargeable. But the upside is those facilities are rarely used due to the small charge so you can book it anytime. - Hot Stones Sauna is probably what you saw on the Spa World pictures that looks so exciting but you need to pay 800 yen to go in. It is fully clothed and unisex but the facilities in there are really not that exciting in real life. Just a couple of weird seatings or lying zones In a heated room. Very underwhelming. Spa World should make this free for all general tickets holders although 800 yen is not that expensive as well. - food in the food park within the building which is payable is underwhelming and not the best around. All in all: this is one of the perfect place to stay for tourist to Osaka. Central location and the fact that you can go to their amazing Spa anytime to recharge after a long day makes it terribly worth it. Free breakfast is good, rooms are clean and new. But if I am super picky, there are some suggestions to their management for improvement: 1) add more water cooler around the whole Spa and common areas instead of forcing your guest to buy water from vending machines 2) charge lower for the water slides. Under utilised when I am there. 3) provide the hot stones sauna for free to your guests. It is almost borderline gimmicky. 4) rotate the European and Asian for male and female on a shorter basis instead of monthly. Maybe try weekly or daily so that guests can experience both types of Spa World! I understand the logistics of changing the signages etc but I am sure there are ways around those (e.g. digital signs). Anyway you won’t regret booking this hotel. It is the absolutely best and very good value for money

La posizione è grande, a circa 5 minuti a piedi dalla stazione Tennoji - uscita centrale. La stanza che abbiamo soggiornato era abbastanza spaziosa, la matita e le mutandine, anche se molto ferma erano davvero buona a dormire, la stanza era pulita con nuovi asciugamani sostituiti quotidianamente e servizio innocuo. Ho preso 1 stella fuori di strutture perché aspettare l'ascensore potrebbe richiedere un po', soprattutto durante il check-out e il pomeriggio. E tutti gli ascensori si fermeranno al livello 7 (ricezione) se qualcuno lì aspetta o no. Oltre a questo, siamo stati molto felici con il nostro soggiorno a Via Inn Tennoji
