The 2-bedroom, 2 bathroom property is nestled in a lush, vibrant cloud forest more than 1,400 feet above sea level and is teeming with wildlife. Plan to spend plenty of time outdoors at Casa Olas Azul. The infinity pool is breathtaking, and the weather is absolutely perfect to hang around on the poolside lounge chairs or grill some fresh fish on the barbecue. In addition, a landscaped tropical garden highlights the backyard foliage.Throughout the property, there are incredible views of the Pacific Ocean and the famous Whale's Tail at Marino Ballena National Park, a rocky reef that stretches more than a mile out to sea and is completely exposed during low tides. It truly is a sight to behold as nature works its course each Costa Rican day. The modern kitchen at Casa Olas Azul is perfect for making gourmet meals. It features an island with granite counter top and stainless-steel appliances including refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, blender, ice-maker and all the cutlery you'll need to prepare perfect feasts each day of your stay. Million dollar views of the ocean, beach and mountains from this tropical paradise. My home is a very comfortable and well stocked 4+ bedroom, 5 full bath home in a very private location with lots of outdoor living space and an infinity edge swimming pool. It is in the jungle overlooking the Pacific Ocean and mountains, but only 5 minutes away from Dominicalito and the beach. Nature abounds here with lots of monkeys, toucans (my favorite), frogs, exotic birds and insects throughout. You will feel like you are in a paradise. The grounds are exquisitely landscaped with lush tropical vegetation. The home has been fully renovated.
The top level has extensive outdoor covered seating areas with marvelous views, as well as covered parking outside of the walled compound. The infinity pool is perched over the ocean and jungle and with new Polywood furniture and a full bathroom and outdoor shower, next to it. Indoors, this level has a large kitchen with granite counters, great views and seating for 12. When passing through the kitchen one enters a more private area with 2 very large bedrooms, one with a private full bath, one with a private deck with an incredible view, and with a full bathroom and laundry area in between. Both bedrooms on this level access an outdoor deck that gives you front row seating for the jungle. Every bedroom has air conditioning, and all living spaces have ceiling fans for your comfort.
The lower level has a bedroom with oversized bunk beds, as well as a children's play room with a projector, games, as well as a futon. There is an additional bedroom, with it's own bathroom. This level also has a second bathroom and a second laundry area as well as a second kitchen and living room. Outdoors, one has a large outdoor covered sitting area with views of the magnificent gardens as well as the ocean and jungle.
Throughout this home has high quality construction, including built-ins and cabinetry.
The Dominical area is loved for its unspoiled scenery and great beaches. Among other things, it is known as a surfing Mecca! This quiet village has an excellent mixture of North Americans and Ticos (Native Costa Ricans), and everyone gets along great. The village has many restaurants ranging from high cuisine to very casual, and lots of places to just hang out.
Let me emphasize that the view is one of the very best in all of Costa Rica and you will want to spend hours enjoying it!
Please note, while the home welcomes small children, some families with children under 8 may not find this home suitable as some of the grounds away from the house can be steep (like nearly all of Costa Rica), and since it is a tropical environment, the stairwells between the main and second levels are outdoors, with a large roof overhang. However, I am very comfortable and happy taking my young children there. And many children have stayed there.
Due to the steepness of the terrain throughout Costa Rica, 4WD is recommended.

This brand new 4 bedroom / 4.5 bathroom home was upgraded and finished in November 2023. Enjoy the peace and quiet in the hills above Uvita, with the expansive ocean view, while remaining 5 minutes from restaurants and shops. We were previously Premier hosts but sold 2 properties during the pandemic so our status was removed only because we didn't have rentals for a year. We're back and ready to host your best vacation again!
The property sits on 2.5 acres above the Pacific ocean with amazing sunset views. There are 4 large bedrooms, all with ensuite bathrooms. Two of the bedrooms have lofts with 2 twin beds each. We have a total of 11 beds to sleep 14-16 people.
The common space is large with a chef's kitchen, seating for 18, and a lounging area with multiple couches (one with a bed) and TV. There are several private lounging spaces as well. Plenty of options for large group gatherings or reading a book in private.
And then there's the pool with infinity edge overlooking the ocean.
We are in the rainforest with visits from toucans, macaws, monkeys, and sloths.
While the house is full of glass to maximize the views, all bedrooms have blackout blinds on all windows (motorized over sliding doors) to allow privacy and ultimate sleeping conditions.

If you wish, Carolina will help you arrange transportation, vehicle rentals, tour reservations, on-site massage and yoga classes. The open-floor plan takes advantage of the ocean breezes, big views and incredible sunrise over the mountains. At night, leave your windows open - the climate is perfect for sleeping at 66-70 degrees year-round, as we are 1776 feet above sea level. We offer light cotton blankets in case you get cold easily. The HOUSE HAS NO STAIRS and is WHEELCHAIR FRIENDLY.
The gourmet kitchen is spacious with high-end appliances, and granite counter tops. There is a small TV room with a flat-screen. This single-level residence features an open floor plan with design elements that tactfully open the home up to gorgeous outdoor spaces. The vaulted ceilings and large sliding glass doors in the main living area create a smooth transition between two different worlds.
The views from the western side of the home are dominated by blue hues with a tropical pool overlooking the Pacific Ocean. To the east, the setting completely transforms into an emerald green rainforest setting with old-growth trees and a natural freshwater creek flowing in the backyard. With nothing but rainforest-covered mountainside behind the property, here you will enjoy complete privacy – other than the Howler Monkeys and Toucans that are regularly seen here.
Two master suites on the western side of the home feature ocean views, private bathrooms, spacious closets, and direct access to the pool lounge area. The two bedrooms located on the eastern side of the home feature ample storage space and direct access to the rainforest backyard. The home also includes a fully equipped kitchen with granite counters, a laundry room, a storage room, 2 vehicle carport and a third full bathroom located off of the living room. Luxurious Guanacaste wood finishes were used throughout the entire home including custom kitchen cabinets, windows, and doors.
With plenty of lounge space for everyone to enjoy Casa Congo includes amenities for all including flat screen TV in the living room and high speed internet service in every room! Fully equipped kitchen includes a full sized oven, gas cooktop, full sized refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, blender and enough cabinet space for longer stays. A state of the art gym is available for guests to enjoy while enjoying the view!
