Quando lasciate l'hotel, se vi siete girati a sinistra verso il fiume, la stazione barca e la ferrata, su di loro si può muoversi verso l'altra spiaggia, camminare, guardare le rovine della città antica, acquistare dalla sauce di granata della nonna locale."

"We had an amazing break in this beautiful setting. The hospitality was fantastic and the gardens and rooms were stunning. We fully relaxed and felt very spoilt by our hosts. They grow vegetables so everything we ate was either organic and sourced from their own gardens or sourced locally. Lovely gastronomy and they bent over backwards to make us feel relaxed and welcome. Dalyan Resort - Special Class
"A magical resort with great fishing 🎣 and delicious breakfast 😋. The manager was very nice and helped arrange the room, which was very satisfying. The boat we booked picked up at the hotel pier and took us to Iztuzu Beach, the most beautiful beach we encountered on our trip to Turkey. The Blue Shell dinner we booked was delicious. We stayed with my father and daughter for two days, and they both felt they hadn't had enough. Local prices are very reasonable, and the front desk was very helpful with currency exchange! The only downside was the salt water in the showers, but it's still worth the trip!"

"Lovely small hotel in a good location . We are in our seventies and just wanted a hotel which was peaceful and decent food . Thats what we got . Good staff who were always helpful. Great cook who cooked omelettes and eggs each morning with a smile .Wifi good and rooms cleaned well. Couple of little niggles like a lot of Turkish small hotels winding staircase but we coped. Would i stay here again definately !!!!!!!!"

"We stayed in September 2025. The Hotel, hotel staff and the location were very, very good and when we got home, we immediately booked to go back next year. Food in the hotel was typically Turkish - nice simple food but there are also a lot of great little places to eat right along the riverside or in Dalyan town that you can walk to or get a cab in the evening. A cab to Dalyan costs less than £4. Among the excellent staff, John in the bar and Ali the pool man were special. Not sure it would suit young families so much but we loved it. Shame they didn't include real balconies when they built the place but the Dalyan Resort still got an overall 5 star rating from us."

"Hotel datato e camera piccola e minimi confort. Poche anche le salviette e la cosa peggiore, una puzza nauseante di urina nella doccia. Fermandomi solo una notte ho preferito tapparmi il naso e usare come profumazione del piatto doccia i bagnoschiuma. Ristorante triste e cupo con menù da pensione quindi optato per altro in vicinanza. Colazione a self-service poca scelta o meglio definirla miserabile."

"Serendipity Revisited Val and I have been visiting Dalyan for 18 years. Many many years ago we posted our experience at the “Happy Carretta”on Trip Advisor It is still as peaceful and beautiful as ever. It’s on the river, sucluded, away from the town centre. They make a wonderful pancake, well worth a try. It may not be too everyone’s taste but could add an extra experience to your holiday . Good luck Val and Bill"

Smyrna Hotel Dalyan
"This is a little gem of a budget hotel. Lots of great reasons to go. The location is bang on, right beside river. The rooms are good size, we were in family room, one double bed and one single. The A C was spot on and unlike lots of places, no extra to pay. Bathroom was good size and decent shower. Bathroom also had hairdryer, which was ok. Our balcony was tiny, although had small table and 2 chairs, all you need. The pool was a good size although beds were few and no cushions on beds. We felt they could have made a lot more of the pool. The best part of our stay was the free breakfast, typically turkish, but lots of choice and amazing quality. The breakfast team really did the hotel proud. We did have a couple of niggles. The fridge in room was frankly useless, hardly kept anything cold. We like a cuppa before we see the world, but no kettle. In our research for this hotel we had seen that clean towels and cleaning of room was not done. You have to ask, they are more than happy to do it, this seemed strange to have to ask but it's how they do it. The hotel is attached to a pub which plays music until about midnight, which wasn't a problem for us, but might be for otheres. The staff at hotel was warm and friendly although English is limited, (my turkish is non existent) there seemed to be some one about at all times so felt safe. We thought for the money it was a great choice and would definitely go back."

"Vi consiglio molto questo hotel! Abbiamo prenotato per 3 notti e poi prolungato il nostro soggiorno, abbiamo passato momenti piacevoli in e intorno alla piscina su molti sedie aperte e sedie lunghe a disposizione, oppure durante le nostre passeggiate sul mercato situato accanto all'hotel. Puoi iniziare la tua giornata con un delizioso colazione ricaricabile preparata con cura dai capi Deniz e Öyku :) . Tutto il personale è stato a colazione con noi, tra cui il signor Turgay Il proprietario, che era sempre molto sorridente e attento alle nostre richieste, non esita a dedicare un pomeriggio per farci visitare i dintorni."

"This was our first visit to Dalyan and we certainly struck gold when we stayed here! We had a fabulous room on the first floor, overlooking the pool which was extremely spacious, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was a good selection, with omlettes cooked to order which were very tasty, as were the homemade cakes! We ate lunch at the hotel a couple of times and the food was very good! We preferred to sunbath on the grassed area to the side of the hotel, however there were plenty of sunbeds around the pool, and it was never busy the time we were there. The hotel is situated about a 10-15 minute walk away from the centre, which was ideal as you had the peace and quiet of the hotel but knowing that restaurants, bars and shops were easy to get to. Overall we had a fabulous stay and are already looking to return next year. Many thanks to all the staff at Dalyan Live Spa for making our holiday so special! Lee and Sharon"

"Just back from 2 weeks here. I was so worried when I read previous reviews. I need not have, yes it was dated but we had a 2 bedroom apartment with 2 bathrooms, air conditioning throughout. It was kept very clean with ample clean towels. Mr and Mr Olzap and all the staff couldn't do enough for us. There were a few faults with apartment but nothing major. Obviously location is fantastic. I'm going back in 6 weeks."

"Fabulous relaxing week at Grand Emir BB. The hotel and grounds/pools/spa are amazing. Loved every minute, all staff are friendly and helpful a credit to your hotel. Breakfast and evening meal were delicious, loved trying different Turkish dishes. Met lots of lovely people cannot wait to return to Dalyan. Enjoyed a beer at the bar chatting with Osman and Ismaile, super young people. Thank you all so much for Fabulous holiday 😀 I even forgive the mosquito 🦟 attacks 😒 big thanks to the lady at spa for soothing the bites with lavender oil."

"If you are looking for a get away from it all break/holiday this hotel is perfect. Slightly out the way from the town but set in a lovely quiet location. The hotel is beautiful and peaceful with lovely relaxing areas. The pool is lovely and the staff are so polite. Helpful and welcoming. The rooms are beautifully designed and cleaned everyday. A walk to the beach is about 1.5 miles. However a courtesy collection on the afternoon is very welcome. In all loved the place."

"We was given this hotel has our return flight was cancelled wow from the moment we walked in we was greeted by the lovely lady on reception nothing was to much trouble for her and the rest of the staff, we was given a room facing the river and Tombs what a view it was from the balcony, the room was spotless and cleaned to a high standard, the bed was very comfortable there was extra pillows and a duvet in the wardrobe, breakfast had a vast array of food to choose from, Its a beautiful hotel, very caring and helpful staff, we had a great stay and we will be back to stay with you in the near future I would definitely recommend this hotel"

"Our first time as a family of four in Turkey, we chose Dalyan on recommendations, we are so glad we did! It’s a wonderful place. We had two rooms in the hotel, a twin and a double, both with balconies, spotlessly clean, fantastic air conditioning, also contain a small fridge. The views from the rooms were stunning. The staff here are the most attentive and kind people - will go out of their way to help you. We felt so relaxed here we didn’t want to leave, seven days was definitely not enough! Good Turkish breakfast and a great range of drinks and food options. The pool was a great size and the grounds are beautifully kept with ample sun beds and shaded seating areas. We will be returning for two weeks next time!"

"Il proprietario di questo hotel, Enver, e sua moglie erano assolutamente sorprendenti, ci facevano sentire a casa e erano caldi e gentili. Eravamo un po' delusi dal colazione, servivano due tipi di formaggio, olive, latte e burro con mandorle di pane di pane e uova di base scrambled: tre omelete tra le persone erano servite con tè turco o caffè inglese. L'appartamento era buono, grande e spazioso, ma nessun con d'aria nelle camere da letto e nessun fan. Il con d'aria era solo nella sala da pranzo. Ci erano strutture di cucina e un frigo. La parte migliore era l'amicizia dei proprietari che si sono resi conto delle carenze. "
