The Boathouse

A very warm welcome from Mike who manages the establishment. Our room was called Treasure of the Broads. It was beautifully decorated, a huge modern bathroom with rain shower over the top of it. We had a meal in the evening and although we hadn’t booked prior to arrival and they were fully booked Mike had no issue with finding us a table with a great view of the Broads. We would definitely return again in the future. The atmosphere of the pub is relaxed but very professional. Credit to the Chef. A wedding was taking place on the day we arrived but this didn’t cause us any noise related issues and we enjoyed watching from afar! All staff and Mike couldn’t do enough for us and we were offered a late departure which we kindly accepted. A shame we couldn’t have stayed longer but a good excuse to return! Absolutely amazing service for our party of 10! Lovely food, great friendly service, they even held the kitchen open for us as we got lost enough route! Thank you so much to the team for having us, we will definitely come back again when we are in the area 💖 x

A walking group of ten of us had lunch this Saturday. We arrived rather earlier than we had booked but Mike was very helpful and accommodating and seated us earlier. We all enjoyed our food which was well presented. Setting of the pub is superb. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and highly recommend.

Worth a visit 72 working nights away over the past twelve months, don't normally leave reviews. The standards here, however, are truly exceptional and deserve recognition. Definitely worth a visit.

We stayed in one of the onsite lodges, it was lovely and clean and just the right size for a family of 3. We had a really lovely lady check us in and help us with sorting a takeaway for the evening, as they don’t serve food on a Monday night. The ducks onsite were an added bonus of having some nature literally on your doorstep! The restaurant was reasonably priced and the food and service were again lovely. Would visit again.

My dad loved his Seabass linguine meal, mum liked her Hunters Chicken. My vegan burger was a big soggy but overall a lovely place to eat. Would be lovely to eat in the garden when the weather is better. Beer was good. Service was great. Would try it again next time we visit Norfolk.
