La Villa Dunois

I cannot say enough good things about La Villa Dunois. It’s what the ideal accommodations should be. The property is conveniently located. I walked (about 20 minutes) from the train station to reach it and then I frequently walked to the old town/city center area. I always felt safe. The home is warm and decorated with taste. My room was huge (especially by European standards). In addition to a bed, there was a desk, a bench by the window and a chair in the corner. Each side of the bed had a nightstand shelf. The decor was subtly funky and there was also a decorative fireplace. For those traveling when it’s warm, you’ll be glad to know there is air conditioning, at least in the front room. I guess double check to be sure. The bathroom was roomy, as was the shower. Let me tell you what really impressed me: a small supply of feminine products was provided as well as a diffuser for the blow dryer. That’s the type of care and attention to detail you can expect. Above and beyond. Let’s talk about the breakfast. Wow! The host homemade many of the products, like bread and preserves. Fresh honey WHICH YOU SCRAPE DIRECTLY FROM HONEY COMB, was also provided. Eggs cooked to order. Speaking of the host, Albert speaks fluent English and is friendly and helpful. He makes this place the jewel that it is. I already miss La Villa Dunois and wish I could just take it with me everywhere I travel.

J'ai séjourné à deux reprises à La villa Dunois lors de voyages d'affaires. J'ai été très bien accueilli à chaque fois. Les chambres sont très spacieuses et d'une propreté irréprochable, on s'y sent chez soi. La décoration de la demeure est raffinée, dans le style art déco. La qualité des dîners et petits déjeuners est exceptionnelle, digne d'un gastronomique. Il n'y a rien à redire. Albert est un hôte très prévenant et charmant. J'y retournerai avec plaisir.

Wat een heerlijke B&B en op loopafstand centrum Orleans centrum. Ongeveer 10 minuutjes lopen. Kamers schoon en met goede smaak ingericht. B&B heeft maar 2 kamers en met de positieve en vriendelijke aandacht van Albert die er alles aan doet om van je verblijf een feestje te maken. Met een feestje bedoel ik het goed verzorgde ontbijt, en ik raad je aan om de table d,hotes erbij te reserveren. Alles wordt vers bereidt. HIervoor hoef je echt niet op zoek naar een restaurant. Ook heeft Albert een ruime keuze uit betaalbare wijnen. Heeft een parkeerbox ter beschikking, om auto en evt fietsen te parkeren. Echt een aanrader om Orleans te ontdekken.
