Hotel in zona Aeroporto Internazionale di Orlando, Orlando

Overall experience is not bad but not as expected! Rooms are small and it’s missing a lot of important amenities for a family trip most importantly the microwave. The self laundry room operate by coins and the coin machine there is not working so you have to walk to the reception to get changes. They don’t charge resort fee but the charge $28 for a self parking which is far away from the building! You have to walk all the way there and pay $28 plus tax a day! There’s shuttle but don’t operate after certain times. Rooms are quiet, clean and full of towels. Location is not that great putting that you have to walk to the parking to get to the car and drive to the international drive near icon park. I don’t think I’ll book there again.

We were a family of 5: 2 adults 3 teens booked for 2 nights. We got to the hotel late, 10:30 pm, the check in line was long so check in was around 11. We booked and received a suite, 3 queen bed, 1 bathroom, pool view. The room was cute and generally clean with the exception of some liquid splatters on the walls here and there. A key had been provided for each person in our group for the free hour entry into the parks however we learned that you also have to use the card key to turn on the lights in the room. There either wasn’t a fan in the bathroom or it wasn’t working and though there were plenty of towels there were only 4 washcloths (original booking was for 6 individuals). We parked our rental in the parking garage and though it wasn’t terrible, it is a bit of a walk to the elevators. If you don’t want to go off site for food the food there was okay (at least during dinner time, don’t know what they served for lunch/breakfast) and honestly reasonable priced with a range number of options. But there are plenty of options in the surrounding area. Any beverages and snacks of course are higher in price. The buses to the park were clean with ride being 5-10 minutes and we never really had to wait coming and going from the park. They cleaned the room when we went to the park however again didn’t provide enough washcloths. I called front desk about it however had to end up hunting down house keeping about an hour later to get one and even that was almost not successful. Overall the stay was okay and I guess you can expect to feel safe as I was told by my husband that a female security guard followed him to our room after he asked for directions. But again everything was good until we got home and realized our personal keys that we kept in the middle console of the rental and had both our home and car keys on had been stolen. Security did claim to check the room we had checked out of with of course no success and then afterwards it took some time for them to truly understand the situation, after being placed on hold a couple of times and then transferred to I’m assuming their supervisor who at first sounded irritated I was then told that there are no cameras in the parking garage. They did take down my contact information and description of the keys but also indicated that having “over 8,000 visitors” at the hotel a day that it may take some time to know if the keys are ever found. So in other words don’t leave ANYTHING important in your vehicle.

Arrivò e il frigorifero non funzionava, né la TV era lontana. Quando arrivava il frigorifero era stato spentato e le batterie erano state spentate. Fatelo. Poi andò a bruciare i denti e l’acqua era scioccata nel gabinetto. Richiamò di nuovo la manutenzione e dissero che la prossima giornata avrebbe riparato. Andò a prendere la navetta al universale. Il bus era tardi e profumato come gas. Ci ha anche preso tardi. Il colazione era molto semplice e niente da ravvicinare. Il cameriere al dipartimento frontale era molto tranquillo e inamichevole. In tutto non sarebbe consigliato, ma la posizione era buona.

My stay at the hotel was from July 3 - 19 and they only had one washing machine working. I went to the reception to notify them and they told me that they only had one washing machine for the entire hotel. In the 16 days I was there, they never repaired the other washing machine and every time I went to wash they were using it, so I had to go outside the hotel to a laundry on 3 occasions to be able to wash my clothes. Because the washing machine on the third floor was never fixed. The breakfast is very good, but the employees must be attentive and clean the tables because sometimes the tables available to eat were dirty and I had to clean them to be able to sit and have breakfast.

Double Trees è sempre un bell'hotel in cui soggiornare e i biscotti gratuiti e il check-in o ogni volta che lo chiedi sono sempre un piacere delizioso. Per questo giorno abbiamo scoperto che non c'era davvero nulla intorno all'hotel per quanto riguarda altri ristoranti, anche se è molto vicino all'universale e hanno un bus navetta che era comodo, alla fine ci siamo trasferiti in un posto vicino che aveva molti altri ristoranti nei dintorni , le camere erano pulite e le aree della piscina. Bello, il cibo del ristorante era buono anche se un po' caro se si desidera utilizzare l'area della piscina, penso che potrebbe essere una scelta eccellente.

Soggiorno combinato con visita degli Universal Studio. Possibilità di transfer da e per aeroporto di Orlando (Mears Connection, si può prenotare anche direttamente in aeroporto specificando andata e ritorno). Per il viaggio di ritorno l'orario verrà concordato in base all'orario del volo. Hotel nuovissimo, tematizzato stile marittimo/serf (colori pastello prevalenza azzurro). Personale cordiale, disponibile. Presente un banco con personale del parco Universal per informazioni, biglietti, prenotazioni, pass, ritiro sconti ecc. Servizi: Starbucks interno, negozio gadget Universal, piscina estera riscaldata (aperta fino alle 23), area gioco bimbi con sabbia, palestra, bar a bordo piscina, ristorante self service che serve tutti i pasti (7:00-23:00) con cucina internazionale (pizza, pasta, hamburger, tacos, cotolette, insalatone...), punto vendita di bevande, alimentari confezionati, frutta e gelati, lavanderia. Possibilità di ordinare la cena e ricerla direttamente in camera. Camere molto spaziose, ben colorate con finestra a vetrata, bagno molto ampio con doccia spaziosa, tv internazione, telefono, minibar, poltrona, letti matrimoniali alla francese, aria condizionata funzionante e regolabile. Ho apprezzato la presenza di fontanelle per riempire le borracce dislocate in vari punti dell'hotel. Presenza di navetta gratuita, senza necessità di prenotazione, che in 5 minuti porta all'ingresso degli Universal (dalla mattina prima dell'apertura fino a tarda sera).

Really nice hotel booked purely for the express passes, Check in was slow and took about 40-45 minutes but all the staff were friendly and you couldn’t wish for a better location.

Se dovessi tornare ad orlando sicuramente tornerei ad un parco Disney e non un parco Universal, perché da Disney c’è la magia, ma se devo trovare una nota positiva agli Universla Studios allora posso dirvi che differentementeda Disney agli Universal c’è il servizio ed il buon cibo. Probabilmente se non avessi scelto lMHard Rock Hotel mi sarei pentito di non essere andato per lMennwsima volta al Grand Floridian, ma in questo ottimo hotel abbiamo potuto apprezzare i buoni ristoranti, la stanza amche se ormai le stanze sono tutte uguali con due letti matrimoniali il bagno a la macchinetta del caffe, e la piscina davvero strepitosa e ben curata. L’hotle si trova a due passi dall’ingresso del parco e offre gratuitamente a tuti i clienti i fast pass. Il personale è sempre disponibile e cortese, circostanza assolutamente inesistente invece a Disneyworld. Consiglio senza dubbio questo hotel a chiunque debba o voglia andare agli Universal studios, e comunque alla fine rispetto al grand floridian si risparmiano tanri soldini che puoi poi investire in drink e ristoranti, onestamente questa circostanza non è da sottovalutare soprattutto se i bambini cresco e le esigenze di vacanza cambiano

L'hotel è buono, l'ambiente, l'igiene e la colazione sono tutti molto buoni. L'hotel è un po' grande quindi all'inizio non è stato facile trovare la stanza. Non c'è ascensore sopra il secondo piano, quindi se i tuoi bagagli sono pesanti, devi portarli su da solo.
