Hotel in zona Sabang Beach, Oriental Mindoro

Badladz is a good dive resort, and in a slightly quieter spot, next to the beach. The staff are great and a highlight was a great selection of really good mexican, western and filipino dishes (as per the menu…:) ). Meals can be taken inside or near the pool or beach. I dont normally eat many meals in the resorts, but in this cases had 90% of the meals in the resort. I went for the scuba diving, and it did not dissappoint. The divemaster was very experienced and professional and dive gear fairly new and im great condition. Thanks Sean and the team.

This is a very cute place to stay! The staff was very friendly, the room was comfortable, and the stay overall was enjoyable. The room was generally clean, with some details overlooked (like previous guest's receipt on the floor and a few other papers around the room, one of the towels was a bit dirty). The hotel only provides a toothbrush and a toothpaste (and shampoo and shower gel in the shower), but I found the lack of a bar of soap disappointing. The location is great, the hotel is right at the beach, and easily accessible. The hotel cafe is adorable, serves good food, and the staff is friendly and polite. As for the provided breakfast, I could choose from the breakfast menu at the cafe, and coffee was served directly. Overall, I would definitely recommend this adorable hotel to anyone visiting, it's charming and worth staying in!

Sono andato a Puerto Galera prima e l'alloggio era una vera lotta. La qualità intorno alla spiaggia Bianca era davvero povera e erano vecchi e stanchi. Quindi, venendo questa volta, volevo trovare qualcosa di meglio. Guardando queste foto, questo hotel sembrava sorprendente. L'hotel è situato a 10 minuti di auto da White Beach. Questo è considerato vicino. E ci sono molti Tricycles che vi riportano all'hotel in qualsiasi momento. Pensavo che questa posizione fosse grande. La vista dall'hotel era sorprendente e aveva due piscine uno di essere una piscina Infinity. La piscina infinity era abbastanza profonda. Le camere erano grandi e confortevoli con buon conno d'aria. Non c'è molto da sbagliare sull'hotel. Ho avuto una stanza accanto alla piscina e l'unica questione era che c'era una luce che non potevi spegnere e che attirava metà delle isole bug di notte, così non potevo lasciare aperta la mia porta. Non sono eccessivamente forte quando lo dico. E' cosi' forte che guidare una moto non può nemmeno farlo al collo lol. Il personale vi aiuterà con i sacchetti e il suo sondaggio solo a 5 minuti a piedi, ma nel calore ci vuole molto da voi. Se non sei adatto o sei della generazione anziana, penso che lo faresti. Ho affittato una moto che suggerirei se restare qui è così facile da viaggiare.

Adoro tornare a uno dei miei hotel preferiti nelle Filippine.Amo la posizione di Blue Crystal; lontano da tutte le ricchezze e ricchezze di Sabang e Puerto Galera. Il personale amichevole e utile lavora ancora nel resort e ha lavorato duramente per rendere il mio soggiorno molto piacevole. Sono ansioso di tornare in un futuro non troppo lontano.

Edgewater Dive and Spa Resort has secured a spot in the top 5 of our travel list due to its exceptional location, accommodation, and staff. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, we were greeted with warmth and received outstanding care. The owners, Richard and Vika, are present almost daily and display a genuine interest in their guests' well-being. Richard, being a passionate diver, provided us with valuable advice on dive spots and answered all our related questions. Thanks to him, we had incredible dives. Billy and Jun, the dive masters, took excellent care of us and introduced us to a variety of dive locations. The resort's convenient proximity to everything made our stay even more enjoyable. Speaking of accommodation, what you see is exactly what you get at Edgewater Dive and Spa Resort. We were delighted to find two spacious and clean rooms equipped with air conditioning and fans. The comfortable beds ensured a good night's sleep. Additionally, we indulged in the outdoor spa, which added to our overall relaxation. We cannot praise the hotel and restaurant staff enough. Jeff and his team made sure we never went hungry. The food was not only delicious but also served with a warm and friendly attitude. Our child especially loved the attention he received. In terms of managing expectations, it's important to note that the resort does not have a beach right on its premises. However, this was not an issue for us as they have a lovely little pool, and with only 12 rooms, it never felt crowded. It's worth mentioning that food preparation may take some time, so it's advisable to place your order ahead of time if you're in a hurry. The resort's slightly secluded location was something we appreciated, as it provided a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere. Despite this, the hotel staff goes above and beyond to make your stay as effortless and convenient as possible. They are more than willing to assist with booking boats for beach tours, arranging tuktuks, or any other transportation needs. We enjoyed our stay at Edgewater Dive and Spa Resort so much that we have already made plans for our next visit. A big thank you to the entire Edgewater team for making our experience truly memorable.

Let me start by saying it a great location, the resort itself is really nice and the staff is generally nice too and I will most likely come back. The Pros: Beautiful beach front. Really paradise. Private beach far from the crowds but not too far if you want to go to the commercial white beach it’s about 3-5 minutes by motor. The rooms are not “shangrila level” but very nice, clean. Nice Balcony. Generally very good. No complaints. The cons: I would expect the food in an establishment like this and with the high rates they charge both for the hotel and the restaurant to be “wow”. It was really “ok lang”. Nothing exciting. When you order dinner it takes about 45 minutes to serve the meal. The bill is not cheap and the food is “just ok”. When I was checking out they asked for additional 5% charge if I pay with a credit card. Honestly this is not something you would expect from a high class hotel/resort in the year 2023. It shows a “stinginess” of the management that leaves a bad taste upon checking out. I’m also a business owner in the Philippines and I would never ask a customer for additional 5% if they pay with a credit card. Not nice. Lastly, I asked the reception what time does the boat leave to Batangas and she said 1 PM and we should leave at 12 PM. The ferry actually leaves at 2:30 PM and we ended up arriving at 2 hours too early instead of relaxing at the resort. Nevertheless it was a great weekend and the place is nice. I hope the management reads this (the receptionist would let me talk to the owner/manager) and improved these issues and next time I will happily leave a 5 star.

Questo è un grande hotel boutique con spaziosi villaggi adatto alla nostra famiglia. La piscina è grande, l'ora felice è un blast 4-6pm al giorno e le camere sono comode. Il cibo al loro ristorante ogni notte e il cibo era buono. Durante il giorno abbiamo preso la barca che costa circa 3k per 4 ore e ha fatto saltare l'isola. Le scale nel resort alla vostra stanza è una sfida, quindi se avete una mobilità limitata, evitare ma non abbiamo avuto alcun problema con essa.

This place is suitable for those Travelers with their cars ‘cause it is situated on the hillside of the island - away from the public and famous white beach. I was with my family last June 2023. The most commendable is Ate at the reception. She’s on hand with all your concerns and can attend to whatever requests or issues you may have. She’s so friendly, kind and cheerful. There are few cats around that make me happy about ‘cause I am a feline lover. The place itself is animal-friendly. Rooms are not built as high-end as Henann’s – the one you see in Bora. If you are not choosy and too meticulous about the rooms? This will suit your budget. In fact, there were foreigners who got to appreciate the natural surroundings and the stillness of the place. Always keep in mind that do not expect more for the price you pay. Always be a reasonable and fair Traveller.
