Azure Beach Residences

This is a beautiful place to stay. The cons: The issue is certain things in the unit are broken/not working. The place should be ready when I get here. There are other issues that weren’t fixed. The pros: The pool and grounds are beautiful/breathtaking.

We went with a family of 4 in total. This place has bugs and is not safe at all. There were flying cockroaches in our room the day we entered and no one was available to even help us get it out. The people that work there have their own time and schedule they leave at 6 pm and if something was to happen to you in the room you are all alone. We had to go to the security guard in the front to see if we could get bug spray. My kid got bitten by mosquitoes at the pool. They don't spray the area so you will get infested with mosquitoes. We had to take her to a pharmacy the next day as she reacted and had hives. For such a beautiful Island this place lacks the expectation. You better off staying at a hotel or somewhere cleaner.

We stayed in the Tides tower in unit 521. It is a corner unit with amazing views. The unit was clean (minus some handprints on the windows and fridge). Everyone that worked there was very pleasant, especially Raymond the guard at the gate. The location is great since you are so close to both Eagle Beach and Palm Beach. We loved the space of the condo. The pool was really nice (although they were doing construction on the second pool). The only downside is that you are not on the beach. The closest walking beach is in front of the Embassy Suites and it wasn't the nicest beach. We drove 3 minutes to Eagle Beach each day and paid $35 for two chairs under the palapa and it was fantastic. It was called Paradise Beach Vacations, my husband went around 8 am and spoke with the security guard there each morning to reserve our chairs (I hate having to do it early, but it is unfortunately the only way). I do prefer a beach right in front of where we are staying, but I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

While the facility is lovely and well maintained I unfortunately tripped on a twisted rubber mat at the entrance to our building and broke my arm in two places. When we reported it to reception, their advice was to call a taxi and go to the hospital. At check out we again reported the accident and the response was "oh well, it can happen on vacation or not on vacation". There was no concern, no offers of assistance , and no follow up. From home, I contacted the management and after several weeks the response was essentially that they had received no report of an accident, all of their mats are secure and they have received no complaints. I interpreted this response as at first, denial that the problem existed and they had no responsibility at all for the accident. My intent was not to create difficulties for the facility but to alert them to the potential problem for others and to alert them to the ineffective response of the staff. While their response assured me that guests' safety of concern to them, their response to my injury did not support this claim. There are so many options for places to stay in Aruba; I would suggest trying to find one that does take guests' safety seriously and accepts responsibility for that safety as much as possible

Wonderful stay, great views of the Caribbean Sea, attentive staff (Brigit) who helped set up excursions and rental car. Great location to access all the restaurants and bars near Eagle and Palm beaches. Minor repairs were needed to an appliance while we stayed and the maintenance staff quickly fixed it. Would stay again!

Great views. The best part is it’s a mile away from the busiest part of the island. Quiet great views and still accessible to the palm beach area that’s chaos at night. Fun but chaos. And the staff are friendly and helpful especially at the bar/resteraunt in the lobby
