This is my first TA review, but I just had to rave about our stay at the Mayhurst. Our family of 15 came to stay for a wedding down the road. Everything was perfect and everyone was so accommodating!! I would highly recommend for a large family stay! Casey and Emma were the best and Jason's breakfasts were over the top! Thank you again for making our stay perfect.

Beautiful estate filled with love and laughter. Beautiful historical home with beautiful rooms and updated amenities. Peaceful and full of history. Walking trails and fun goats and ducks and pond w duck house. Hammocks and outdoor fun. The hosts Casey and Jason and family are so welcoming and kind! They will take care of you and your every need. My favorite home away from home. We are a Woodberry Forest family. We have been visiting for four years and have enjoyed being a part of the Mayhurst and all of its glory! Thank you so much!

My wife and I have stayed at the Mayhurst Inn on many occasions. We are never disappointed by the wonderful breakfast and accommodations we have experienced. I think we have stayed in every room, as well as the cottage, and have enjoyed each one immensely. We could not recommend this lovely BNB more highly!

This B&B is a gem! Cassie and her husband do a wonderful job of welcoming you and attending to your needs. The property is lovely but the BEST part for us was the JURA coffee maker! This is something you will not find anywhere else and it is fabulous! Breakfast was delicious. It is tastefully appointed, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend! Found this in Victoria Magazine and you can't go wrong with their recommendations.

We were only at Mayhurst one night but loved it! We received a gift certificate from our daughter to stay there and we're so glad she chose Mayhurst. The house and grounds are lovely, and we got to visit with the baby goat! The bed was extremely comfortable and the claw foot bathtub was a treat. The thing we admired the most was the beautiful windows. The property is steeped in history which was fun to learn about from Casey, our gracious hostess. She and her family have done labor intensive and extensive work to restore this historic home for us to enjoy. Highly recommend.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mayhurst over a 5 day period and leave with very fond memories! You are bold over the moment your eyes take in the site of the magnificent historic house as you drive up with its ornate, detailed woodwork and overall magnificent presence. We loved the books to read inside covering the local history, especially, former President James Madision and Orange County, the décor, wonderful outdoor patio to lounge around on, and all the terrific charm brought to the house and its guests by the owners. It is a “experience” to take in and we felt the history, solitude of the country setting, loved the delicious breakfast, the room we stayed and the personal touch of time talking with Casey that gives such a deep appreciation to all that is Mayhurst!

It was very serene. A beautiful and peaceful location. Excellent breakfast. We booked two rooms and one room was very spacious. The house was decorated beautifully. A nice place to get away. We especially enjoyed petting the baby goats! I took my children but would like to return with my husband some day!

Great room and Staff. Beautiful place. Staff is caring and attentive. Breakfast was always great! The place and rooms are all beautiful and charming. I would recommend staying here when in Orange, Virginia to everyone. It is also close to several historic locations.

The Inn is incredible both architecturally and historically. Casey is sweet as pie and so are the goats! We walked the grounds and wished it would’ve been Spring or Autumn. The whirlpool didn’t work, and the antique bed was super squeaky, but that wouldn’t keep us from going back and even bringing some friends along. And breakfast? Mm mm mm.
