We didn’t stay in the hotel, but we did go for a family lunch to the restaurant. Sadly, I have to say it was a great disaster. The waiter has no place to be near people and no, it wasn’t his first day, no need to worry. Dare I say, when it takes 20-25 minutes to take and place an order it’s nevet a godd sign (we should have left at that point imediatley, that was our fault). The dear boy came back first to let us now that they don’t have a certain dish. That happens everywhere, no problem, but you should at least bring a menu so we can choose something else! After another 20 minutes when we got the drinks, but not enough glasses for the water (that’s REALLY below standard), he told us that they don’t have one of the drinks we ordered. So we asked for another lemonade instead, that was tasteless so we had to ask them to “retouch” it at least a bit. So then after 40 exciting minutes we got every drink we ordered, after came one appetizer. So far, not so good, but acceptable. Then (while we still had empty plates on the table), came the main dishes, 4 out of 5 dishes, because the waiter forgot to one of them. The food was fairly good, I ordered a grilled salmon, that had a burnt skin, which for me is the best part in a smoked salmon, but it happens, I accepted. We finished eating, still waiting for the forgotten main dish, that came after another 30 minutes whithout the garnish! We tried to order 3 desserts, of course they didn’t have everything, we even tried asking the waiter what they had, not with much luck because the waiter didn’t even know what was on the menu! :)) Another 20 minutes for the desserts, the lava cake didn’t have “lava”, it was overcooked, the chestnut pure was good, because it’s a frozen product. And at a empty restaurant, after too many mistakes the waiter didn’t even bother to pay a little more attention to us, instead he took a sit in the bar. As a conclusion, if you love the anticipation to wait for this amazing “really slow food” (their new thing in their cuisine), to have everything messed up for you when you are trying to have a good time, ask for Andrei. And I wouldn’t say anything, if at the top of the door they didn’t have 4 stars! P.S: if your staff is not trained, I am happy to help. If that’s not the case, just let go of them…
