The Heritage House is a fantastic property. The location, house, owner, breakfast, and every other element are top notch. This was my 2nd stay and it won't be my last! Leif and Dani are simply the best hosts. This was the most peaceful and pleasant overnight stay I've ever had away from home.

Such a beautiful home! Very clean and super comfortable. The hosts were very friendly. And there were little touches everywhere like complimentary snacks, plush robes, and extra toiletries. I am already recommending this to friends because it's just a 15 minute drive to Auburn University and wonderful alternative to the overpriced hotels!

Stayed with family at this beautiful property. The hosts were very friendly and the breakfast was delicious! There were several restaurant options within walking distance. We also found a fun wine bar in town. We will be back for a future visit soon.

Was a wonderful stay…it was a last minute call as we were late on the road trying to get through Atlanta, backed up traffic and a long delay on the interstate due to a severe crash! The host, Leif answered the phone and from then on it was smooth sailing. We told him we would be very late arriving, and he had our suite ready, even reassuring us that he lived on the property and would be available to us for anything needed. He was awesome! Our bed was so comfortable, and the suite and home just lovely. The Halloween decorations were stellar as an added bonus. Breakfast was amazing also. We will return for sure as we did not get to take advantage of the little town and history, but on our way out of town…we knew this place was a must do again. Tks Leif♥️

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay while visiting Opelika. The accommodations were very comfortable and classy, the breakfast was very delicious breakfast, healthy customized, it was all a wonderful experience and I would gladly come back. Highly recommended!

We just lived the Heritage Inn. The rooms are beautiful and the whole experience was so enjoyable . The hosts are charming, the decor is magical and the breakfast excellent . Opelika was such a pleasant surprise . Great historic downtown . We definitely recommend

The Heritage House is the perfect place to stay when visiting Opelika or Auburn. The home is absolutely magnificent, the themed rooms are stunning, and the beds are so comfortable. Leif and Dani are the warm, friendly owners. They are the epitome of great hospitality, and go above and beyond to make sure your stay is wonderful. Breakfasts are delicious. We love to stay here whenever we are in the area!

What a blessing that this historic home was saved from demolition. My stay was perfect from start to finish. The host and hostess made sure all my needs were met. Breakfast was delicious, snacks were provided, and drinks were cold in the refrigerator. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Everything was top quality from bedding, breakfast, service, hospitality to name just a few notables. Furnishings provided a warm feeling and accentuated the home’s heritage features beautifully- lots of charm! The host (Leif and Dani) were wonderful and passionate about their business and ensuring your stay was memorable. Location perfect for walking distance to charming downtown establishments. Definitely worth a return trip to Opelika and bring more friends to share in experience- upto 5 bedrooms capability!
