Amadria Park Hotel Agava

During our recent, very first and very last-minute visit to Opatija, we ended up in this beautiful hotel without having a reservation. We thought it won't be a problem finding a hotel in Opatija as it is a well-known destination - famous for its numerous heritage hotels and hospitality... well, it wasn't quite easy. We are a family of three and after checking with almost all hotels in the city centre, we ended up getting the last double bed room in Amadria Agava for one night with our son sleeping with us in the same bed. The following morning, we went to the front desk to check if it would be possible to extend for one more night, at this time we were happy to stay in the same room and share the bed 😩... At the desk, we were greeted by Domagoj, the gentleman who made our stay from great to memorable one. He showed sincere care and willingness to listen and assist. While we were having coffee, he managed to secure room from the last-minute cancelled booking - and it was a room with three beds. He told us that we can enjoy the city and continue with our plans and he will organize our luggage to be sent to the new room once the room is ready. His professionalism and positive, smiling attitude made our short stay truly enjoyable and we can't wait to come back to Opatija and Agava as well. To add that all staff that we encountered were friendly, rooms spacious and comfortable. Breakfast very good with various options. Excellent location. Many thanks to Amadria Agava. We will come back. Perfect crew , clean and in the city center.Amazing location and service. Food was also tasty and nice served.Would suggested the place for lone trip or family as well.Esspecially would congratulate the management and English knowledge

Very cute small hotel just steps away from the promenade. The staff was polite and welcoming, especially Karmen at reception. I was positively surprised by the welcoming sparkling wine in the room and a homemade pastry for Easter. The breakfast area is also great with a good selection of food, only the coffee is from a self-service machine, if you are a coffee lover, a cup of coffee from the bar will be charged additionally. Overall, good value for money, planning to be back soon.
