Hotel con colazione inclusa a Olympia

Nice property, good location near several better restaurants and close to the Farmer’s Market. Room was large, well appointed. The sink in the room entryway is a bit odd. No real restaurant on site, despite the official description. Just a breakfast area that doubles as a Bar at night with a few appetizers. Breakfast was hit and miss. Well stocked with friendly staff Friday morning, almost out if food with clueless staff Saturday. As the title says, if this was a Hampton Inn, it would be great. As a Doubletree, second time in six months we ran into this configuration so it might be that Hilton is ‘dumbing down’ Doubletree as a brand.

Online dice nessun rimborso e avevo già pagato per la mia stanza , e stava cercando di farmi pagare una seconda volta perché sosteneva di ”non poter vedere il mio pagamento”. 🙄 Mi ha fatto dare il numero all'agenzia di prenotazione che sostanzialmente le ha detto che non possono rimborsare i soldi come da polizza. Non mi avrebbe dato affatto una stanza, a meno che non avessi pagato di nuovo. Intendiamoci, ho pagato $ 95 o $ 97 al netto delle tasse, non avrei mai potuto lasciar perdere e dare più soldi all'hotel. NO. Alla fine ha chiamato il suo manager, cosa che avrebbe dovuto fare per cominciare, e lui le ha parlato di come correggere l'errore. Sono ancora arrabbiato per questo. Era la mia prima volta qui e mi ci è voluto più di un'ORA per entrare in una stanza. Ero in ritardo alla mia conferenza online per lavoro a causa di questo. RIDICOLO!!!!!! A parte lei, la camera d'albergo era molto accogliente e confortevole. Il letto era incredibilmente comodo, così come il divano in camera. Mi piace il fatto che usino prodotti alla neutrogena anche in bagno. Sembra un pavimento aggiornato nel corridoio e nel bagno, il che era davvero carino. Consiglio di soggiornare qui perché sono sicuro che l'incidente di cui sopra non si verifica sempre. La colazione al mattino era buona, donna MOLTO educata che serve. Tutto il personale aveva le mascherine e ho notato che un paio usava regolarmente disinfettante... probabilmente ci tornerò.

Very clean, and friendly staff, as others have mentioned. Truly excellent blackout shade on the window, quite unusual in any hotel. The odd numbered rooms face four lanes of I-5 and are so close to the freeway that you can read the license plates, so be sure to ask for an even numbered room, which faces the entrance to the hotel but is far quieter. There are a few downsides. The breakfasts are not special, but there are no restaurants within walking distance, so it serves the purpose. The hotel is easy to find from the I-5 exit ramps, but if you are arriving from downtown via 14th, the county's signage is very poor, and it's easy to end up back on I-5 unintentionally. Finally, although the property is reasonably new and well maintained, the furnishings are, well, cheap. The prefab shower looks like something from Motel 6. I'm aware that the Garden Inn is designed to be at the bottom level of Hilton properties, but at rack rates of more than $200 nightly, I had hoped for something a bit better.

I miss the Swantown Inn. It's been a few days, but I woke up and made a cappuccino in my mug that we accidentally absconded with (and later purchased) using Olympia Coffee Roasters coffee that I also brought home with me, and tried to imagine myself back at my little desk there and sipping it while doing my work on their lightning fast internet. I left a book there, and they helped me find it, so I picked it up this morning and leafed through it, pretending I was back at the Inn under the canopy of the bed, smelling the flowers, and warming by the fire. The breakfast was lovely, the food was savory, and the conversation was flowing. I really cannot think of a better place to return to for a special get away and hope they will make room for us once again. They really made us feel at home.

We stayed at Heron/Eld House for one night as part of a trip around the Olympic peninsula and loved the experience of being in a log cabin close to the water. Clean, tidy and well presented. Much more memorable than a motel. We had dinner in Olympia about 15 minutes drive as there isn't anything really walkable. A continental style breakfast was provided which was fine for our purposes and the weather was good enough to have this on the small terrace watched by an inquisitive raccoon. An enjoyable expereince.

What a wonderful experience we had in Olympia! The only regret is that we only booked for one night. The hotel is located just off the highway south of the city of Olympia. The room was exceptionally clean and modern, with hot water and complimentary Starbucks freshly roasted coffee. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The gentleman at the front desk provided us with a clear introduction to the hotel and all the necessary assistance we needed.
