Montebello Resort Hotel - All Inclusive

Overall it was very good, mainly because of the location, the parking space in front of the hotel and the fact that you didn't have to think about what to eat, you took care of all your meals directly at the hotel. The beach is only a five to ten minute walk away. But the downside is that the room facilities are too old and the air conditioning is not very good, but overall it is not bad. 总体来说还是非常不错的，主要是位置好，门口有停车位，而且不用考虑吃什么，直接在酒店解决了所有用餐。距离沙滩走路只要五到10分钟的路程。但是缺点是房间的设施太老旧了空调也不是很好使，总体来说还不错吧。

I spent a wonderful week at this hotel, so. An honest review from a female solo traveller. There are many pros to this hotel but a few cons as well. Let’s start with checking in, I arrived around 1.30am, there were staff to greet me as I got off the transfer coach. A lovely gentleman took my bag to my room, check in was smooth and very easy. The room itself was really spacious clean and tidy the balconies are on the smaller side, but still enough room to have a table and two chairs, the view from my balcony was stunning, a combination of palm trees and a view of the pools for the swim rooms. However, the fridge in my room never worked whilst this wasn’t an issue for me it may be for other people. The main pro about this hotel is the entertainment team Luke, Bedo, Sema and Danca are all absolutely fantastic whether you want to join in with every activity or no activities. They will always make sure you are happy and comfortable in the hotel. The next pro is the pancake lady… amazing!! She works so hard always has a massive queue and makes the most amazing fresh sweet and sour pancakes. The staff are great at the pool bar, however they do need more staff on that bar as it can get very busy. The pool is always clean spacious and in actual fact quite warm probably too warm when it was nearly 40° when I was there. The cons there really isn’t enough sunbeds plus they are very close together out of days I was there I think I got a sunbed for three days. In the pool bar where they have the entertainment in the evening, they really need some big fans in there as it gets very warm sat there in the evening watching the shows. The food was hit and miss, breakfast was the biggest disappointment however, I managed to eat three meals every day plus snacks you can always find something to eat no matter how fussy you are. The freshly cooked pasta in the restaurant was delicious. Overall for the price I paid it was a fantastic stat and I will most definitely be back soon.

Booked on Monday, traveled on Tuesday. Arrived late so no bar. Unfortunately our room was about the furthest from the pool and restaurant and required a lift and 2 flights of stairs. Management were excellent and changed the room the next day. Room was fine and had a small balcony. I enjoyed the food. There was a good selection and a decent amount of very tasty vegetarian dishes. Others disagree but it was nice to see okra and green beans, salted corn, beetroot etc all available. I found the evening entertainment odd. It started every night at 9 with children's dancing to the same 5 or 6 songs. Tedious. The professional entertainment was exceptionally good but only lasted 30 minutes, so most of the evening was a bit boring. I would like to see some live Turkish musicians and perhaps some other entertainment (other than bingo). The hotel is not massive and not too small so you can get around it easily. The cleaning staff will knock and enter if you don't put up the do not disturb notice. WiFi was usually ok but could go slow at busy times. An ideal hotel for families, but for me and my wife being old I found it a bit lacking in character/atmosphere. By the way, the white wine was pretty good, I drank a lot of beer, sampled some of their cocktails, gin and tonic, extra strong Raki, all good.

The hotel itself is lovely but there’s not much food choice and it’s very repetitive, although we were all inclusive we found ourselves eating out most days. I’m glad we booked a swim up room as the beds around the main pool are literally touching and you have no space whatsoever. To use the safe in the room it’s around £30, a second room key is a further £20 and late checkout is £70, so quite expensive when the holiday itself cost over £3,000 for just two of us. If you like your sleep take ear plugs, constant banging of doors and shouting throughout the night, the ‘call for prayer’ sounds at around 04:45 am and is very loud (we’re used to this as we’ve travelled to Turkey many times but it doesn’t normally bother us). The location of the hotel is perfect, just a few minutes walk to the main ***** but far enough away from the pub noise. We enjoyed our holiday but sadly won’t return to this resort which is a shame as the swim up room was perfect.

After recently visiting the montebello can honestly say the worst hotel experience I've ever had, our first day was horrendous which set the tone of our holiday I wanted to leave but my fiancee talked me into giving it time which we did. The bar staff were rude and not far off nasty which ended in me having two big arguments which I should not be doing on a couples holiday me and my fiancee just wanted to relax which this is not the place, the bar smells and is dirty and make up there own rules as they go it's such a shame as our room and cleaning of the room was fine just got the feeling all they want is your money not you, oh and come eleven they forcefully tell you to leave and because of this experience we will never return to Turkey and beware very disrespectful to woman but on a plus fred is an asset and too good to be at the montebello

Honest review, after reading a mix of reviews I was a little apprehensive. Hotel grounds and pools are lovely, pretty view of mountains and the location of the hotel is perfect. Just a short walk down to the road to bars, restaurants, supermarkets and the beach. Poolside extremely slippery, shoes are needed especially children!! Slides are very fast, children need to be supervised. Hotel rooms small but have what you need, water stocked daily, my only negative here is that the housekeeping staff did not speak English. We had 2 adults and 1 child in our room. We asked daily for 3 towels as they kept giving us 2 but did not understand and only 2/7 days did we have 3 towels. The sofa bed was also not set up on arrival but they did do this very promptly after we asked. My mum's contact lenses case got thrown out on day 3 of our holiday, we bought this up to reception who implied we were irresponsible and lost them as the housekeeping staff wouldn't touch them. They were very rude and refused to help us, meaning we had to find a pharmacy and buy more, did not appreciate the rudeness here from the reception staff. Entertainment staff were fabulous as was Fred the photographer - wonderful photos thank you! Very friendly and really made our holiday. Our children loved gamze the kids club lady and really enjoyed going to the kids club where they played games, did face painting, had ice cream and watched movies. My only negative here is that sometimes kids club started an hour or so late with no signs up to say otherwise. The food was hit and miss, did not enjoy breakfast, not much choice in my opinion and the queues for the omelettes were long! Lunch and snacks personally were the best for me and the pancakes, served 12.30-4.30 were delicious as well as the ice creams (3-4pm). We did eat dinner out a couple of times throughout the week as there are lots of restaurants near by. Sunbeds by the pool were all taken/reserved by 8am so had to get up early to get a sunbed, even though signs say you cannot reserve beds, some beds had towels on all day with no one there! Overall we had a nice relaxing holiday, however I would say the hotel is definitely not a 4 star, more like a 3 star. Room for improvement but not a bad hotel

Just got back from another fantastic holiday here. We've been a few times now and really enjoy coming here, we will definitely be returning as soon as we can. The hotel is always very clean and tidy. The cleaning staff work tirelessly. Bedding is changed at least every 3rd day, on some occasions every 2 days. Rooms are cleaned daily. The pool area is cleaned every evening and first thing in the morning with the sun beds being wiped down each morning. The food is plentiful and there is always something to eat. I'm not a particularly fussy eater though. I enjoy food. The waiting staff and bar staff are all really friendly and efficient. They work very hard to keep everything clean and ensure tables are ready. The photographer, Fred, is a lovely guy. He takes some great photos if you want a holiday keepsake. He also lives locally and can give you some excellent local knowledge and insights into the area. The animation team work so hard to keep everyone entertained all day. They're always upbeat and fun. If you don't want to join in they'll try and persuade you as it's their job. They're not offended if you don't want to. They keep many activities going throughout the day and even if you don't join in yourself, plenty of others do and have a lot of enjoyment. They're back each evening for a kids disco type thing. The kids absolutely love it. There is always some kind of show each night, such as a fire show, dance shows, magicians, traditional Turkish night. All very good. It's a great hotel, well run and some really hardworking staff who work in the heat and with smiles on their faces. I admit, it's not the Savoy but I really can't understand how some people are disappointed when they come. It speaks volumes to me that so many people come back here time and time again.

We've just got home, found the hotel to be nice, food not bad but unfortunately some of the staff ruined it for us. Particularly the bar staff. Only 1 bar there not 3 as advertised- as the other 2 are only open at meal times. So only bar all day & eve is a pool bar which is filthy and stinks, the staff on that bar are rude and unwelcoming. Make up stupid rules as they go along but only for some people not others. It's volatile and saw lots of arguments. Particularly at night when it says on the wall drinks after 11 need to be paid for but at 11 they are closed and throwing everyone out. So at 11 you either have to go out to spend more money or go to bed. Some of the staff were lovely, in particular Fred the photographer absolute legend, our housekeeping lady was so nice. 1 lovely waiter who we didnt get his name but he was lovely, but he was off on our last day so didnt get to say goodbye to him. He was waisted in the restaurant he sould of been front of house on the bar not the miserable 4 they had. It was like the worst 4 staff have the most people facing jobs. People said its coz we hadn't tipped them when we arrived but we always tip the nice ones at the end, needless to say we didn't tip the bar staff a Penny!! Not impressed

We have just come back from a wonderful holiday, staying at Montebello Resort Hotel. This was our third time there, never fails to disappoint, Reception staff are more than helpful, all the waiting staff are fabulous, always look after you, Customer service 100% As was the animation team,, special mention to Fred the most friendliest photographer you could ever meet, fantastic at this job, very professional. Had some lovely pics done. x All very clean, clean linen and towels everyday. So roll on next year, we will be back. Keep up the good work, thank you
