Fisi Camp was AMAZING. It was such a GREAT safari camp. The price was right. But that didn't mean that everything was low quality. Just the opposite. The hosts were SO welcoming and great. The staff was SO helpful. The food was GREAT. The tent/rooms were AWESOME. Hot showers. Lots of outlets for power. Wifi up at the main lodge. Everything was GREAT. We would do it again. 100%.

Simple camp in a good location. The owners were very friendly and the owner even offered to let me borrow a bean bag for my camera. We chatted about it before and after my safari with the borrowed bean bag and he had plenty of advice for me. He told me about a hiding spot he's building for bird watchers, too. Overall, very lovely and enthusiastic people! The camp itself is good - not luxurious, but fine. I had a bat in my bathroom section, which I personally did not mind as it was eating the mosquitoes. I did have spiders in the bathroom section and a gecko in the main tent, which might be too much for some. The main challenge was the water pressure though. Showering after an entire group of people returned to the camp is sometimes close to impossible. This definitely needs to be improved. The light within the tent could also be brighter. I often used my headlamp when searching for something. The beds are fine and you get mosquito nets over each bed. The food was buffet style and decent. There is wifi in the restaurant tent and to some degree in the tent right next to it (I had that one). The dogs are watching the camp during the night and some of my friends heard them barking at hyenas during the night. So if you're a light sleeper, maybe bring some ear plugs ;-).

We spent 3 nights at Fisi camp while on safari in Maasai Mara and all three nights we were treated to delicious home cooked dinners/lunches, clean bathrooms, comfy tents, fireside chats, stunning sunset views and wonderful hospitality from Ken, Marie and all the Maasai staff. Thank you so much for such an amazing and unique experience!

I went with my family 3 days, we enjoyed a lot our stay. Lunch and dinner was delicious a lot of variety, what we liked the most were the soups. The service fantastic (security guys and waiters) very friendly and always with a smile. The cabins where we slept very confortable, in each tent we had our own bathroom.

Not enough stars to us it's was 10 stars plus. Ken and Marie as well as staff very fantastic. The tents were clean and fresh couldn't fault it. Food was beautiful. View from the camp was exceptional. Staff were friendly and helpful. 24hr security soon as you come out of ur tent at night the staff were there to guide you with their torch and made sure you got back to your tent safely. Marie and Ken I can't find the words to express how wonderful they were. We came as strangers and left as friends. Everyone don't go to any other camp fisi is the best.

If you looking for a "Home away from home" feeling, this is the place . Apart from its scenic beauty and breath-taking view from the camp, it is homely, simple, friendly and most of all clean and comfortable. We stayed here for 7 days and have had the best experience ever. This was our second trip to the Massai. Though the road to reach this place is rough and bumpy and a little hard to find, the serenity and beauty of FISI camp helps you forget it all . This place exceeds all expectations. It is the perfect place for nature lovers , wildlife enthusiasts and anyone seeking an authentic wildlife experience. we cant wait to return to this magical place and create many more memories. The accommodations were not only comfortable but also blended seamlessly with the natural surroundings, making us feel truly part of the jungle. From amazing and delicious food to clean tents, this place has it all. Though the camp is surrounded by the Jungle, the tents don’t have many insects inside them. The bed is cozy, and the bathroom is sanitary. It’s exactly how it looks in the photographs uploaded on the website. The staff is excellent and provided top notch service with a warm and welcoming attitude. The camp also has an incredible set of Security guards that keep watch day and night. Our Guide Alison and Driver Daniel were the best combination we had during our safari. They know their craft and the Jungle well. Every day we had a different yet amazing sight of the various animals there. They made sure all our wishes were fulfilled beyond our expectations. Ken and Marie are the humblest hosts I have ever met. A big big thankyou to them for making our trip the most memorable one. I highly recommend staying here, its an experience you'll never forget ….

We stayed at Fisi Camp for three nights in 2018 and were delighted with our stay. The staff were friendly, the local community were happy to see us on our drive to the gates, the food was good and the animals in the Sopa region of the Mara (where the camp is located) were phenomenal. The only downside was the poor conditions of the guides' sleeping quarters which were raised during our last visit and were assured were being improved. We therefore chose to return in 2022 for five nights (we left after three) and we brought our friends along too. What a mistake! Whilst the guest tents were unchanged from our initial visit, this is also true of the guide's accommodation which we had been told four years ago was being improved. The food tasted okay whilst at the camp but the day we left one of our party developed severe sickness and diarrhea - it turned out to be giardia - a parasite picked up from unclean drinking water or food cooked or washed in unclean water. Unclean water that is contaminated with faeces! Just as well we left early otherwise we might all have contracted it. The doctor advised that the infection would have occured within 48 hours of symptoms starting so the only place it could have been picked up from was Fisi Camp. As mentioned, we left the camp after three nights, we would have left after two if we could have. The reasons for this lay outside the camp itself however they made the camp an unpleasant place to stay so are pertinent to a review of our experience of staying there. Firstly, the Sopa region of the Masai Mara has been decimated. Local Masai take their cows, goats and sheep into the reserve to eat the grass (even though this is against the reserve rules). This means there is no grass left for the wild animals. The Sopa pride of lions has moved on and the hundreds of wildebeest we witnessed during our last stay were nonexistent! It takes over an hour's drive into the reserve to begin to see anything beyond agricultural animals and the odd lone zebra or impala. This area of the Mara is nothing like our previous visit and we would not return. Despite the lack of animals, we had planned to remain in the camp and undertake longer game drives to get to the Talek and Mara Triangle regions where the animals were plentiful. However, on our way to the gates on our second day, we encountered the hostility of the local community. At three points along the road to the gate, children hurled rocks at and into the vehicle (narrowly missing a fellow passenger's head). They also purposefully blocked the roads with sheep, cows and goats and would not move unless they were given money or food. The Masai working at the camp were also unfriendly and standoffish. This community directly benefits from Fisi Camp and its guests through school sponsorships and deliveries of maize. In turn, it repays the guests of Fisi Camp in this way. We did not save up for four years to come on a dream trip to be treated in this way by the local community.
