We had a very nice stay here: Room: We were in the Inti Suite, on the second floor. It's spacious, with high ceilings and wooden beams, and is attractively decorated. The balcony has a great view of the alley below and the mountains. There was an adequate number of electrical outlets. The bathroom was spacious; water pressure in the shower was excellent, though temperature was inconsistent. There is ample space/hangers for clothes. Noise from other rooms was never a problem, though the hotel wasn't full while we were here. A street light across the alley shines down on the head of the bed; I found eye shades helpful. Location: Perfectly located just a couple of blocks away from the main plaza, Picaflor is on a lovely little cobblestone alley. The sound of the aqueduct burbling below is very soothing. Ollantaytambo is a charming little town with plenty of tourist infrastructure; we found it to be a great base for Machu Picchu and the Sacred valley. Staff: Always friendly and helpful. Little English is spoken at the front desk, but we were able to communicate when we needed to. Edwin, whose Whatsapp number is listed in the hotel's contact information, speaks excellent English and was very helpful. Food: Breakfast was fine; nothing special, but it provided everything we needed to start the day in this lovely little town. Overall, a very nice stay. I would definitely recommend Picaflor Tambo, and Ollantaytambo, for your visit to the Sacred Valley.
