Hotel in zona Lorraine Thomas Park, Oklahoma City

My day began with a vehicle and equipment challenge that negated my way to the airport. Please allow me to express my sincere appreciation to both Lesli and Anita for their professionalism, kindness, and assistance with smoothing an otherwise bumpy Monday morning. It is my hope that each of these exceptional ladies are recognized for the excellence they afforded me. Thank you, thank you, and THANK YOU for getting me on my way safely and with the warmth of a smile!!!

First off, when I pulled up at the hotel, it was around 8:36p.m on a Friday. I saw a younger looking man, (I'd say early 20's), standing outside and it looked like he was up to no good. The area in general looked suspicious if you ask me. I asked the lady at the front desk if people normally hang out around the hotel, and she said no but I beg to differ. This area looked like a breeding ground for all types of crime and unwanted behavior, but I digress. I had already booked the room, and I had to get dressed for my event, so I had no time to search for another hotel at that moment. I saw all kinds of, let's say, low vibrational people walking in the hallway, among other names I will not call them. This hotel was nasty and disgusting looking. I got into my room and the couch in the room looked like they got it off the street and put it in the room, smh. The room was dark in general, and the hotel just looked old and unkept. I never took any of my clothes out of the bag and set my bag on the table, no on the floor or anywhere else because I had a feeling there had to be bugs here. I immediately checked the bed and pulled the sheets up to check the seams of the bed to check for bedbugs. Surprisingly, the bed and linens were clean from what I saw. I went to my event and didn't return until almost 3a.m. When I pulled up, there were all kinds of younger looking adults outside just hanging out, which the woman told me earlier that wasn't the case, that was a lie. I barely found a parking spot. I finally found a spot and went into my room. I showered and went to bed around 3:30a.m. and woke right back up around 6:30a.m. to attend another event. I saw two roaches as I was getting dressed in the morning and started screaming. There was a roach right by the lamp on the table. Uggggggg. I immediately packed my bags and got out of there and told the guy at the front desk I was not happy about this hotel. He stated that he would refund me for a day, so I'll wait to see if that happens. I took every piece I would never in my life step foot in this hotel ever again. It was horrible. Pictures are very deceiving and the reviews as well. Luckily, my cousins were in town as well, attending the same events as me and they had a hotel suite. I ended up staying with them on Saturday and I left on Sunday. Don't ever go here and you definitely better not take your children. It's not a good hotel at all.

Great stay, all the Courtyard usuals: fast WiFi, comfortable bed, great amenities and great shower pressure. Desk staff seemed stressed when we checked in but they’re was a large group checking in at the same time. Memorial was a 15 minute walk, same for Bass Pro. Cattlemen’s was a $10 Uber.

Tuttavia, la gestione deve prestare maggiore attenzione ai dettagli. Dopo un giorno intero in occasione delle nostre date, sono tornato in una stanza che non era stata toccata. Il letto era inconfezionato, la spazzatura non era vuota, i bicchieri non erano stati raccolti, e non avevo una tovagliola pulita per fare una doccia prima di cena, e ero in un momento di crollo. (L'hotel deve fornire servizio di custodia quotidiana.) Il desk non ha risposto al telefono quando ho chiamato dalla mia stanza, quindi mi sono vestito e sono sceso a parlare con qualcuno in persona. Mi è stato detto che il custodia sarebbe venuto subito. Ma non lo hanno fatto. E così ho dovuto chiamare di nuovo, questa volta ho ricevuto una risposta, ma ancora molto ritardato su chiunque si presentasse alla mia porta. Se questo fosse un Hilton Garden Inn, mi aspettavo meno di servizio. Ma in una proprietà come questa, mi aspettavo più. Una grande sorveglianza è il menu di servizio in camera strano offerto. Ovunque altro in America non si può ordinare un hamburger o qualche cibo di base dal servizio in camera. Non ero in atmosfera per un bicchiere Wagyu. Così sono andato al bar e ho trovato un hamburger e frittelle. Ma il bar non è permesso vendere dolci. Che? Chi pensava che fosse una buona idea. La notte dopo ho mangiato una salada di pollo Caesar nel bar e quasi mi sono rotto i denti su almeno quattro ossa di pollo non correttamente rimosse. Bella proprietà, buona posizione, belle camere (non si aspettano però una vista), ma un po' mancante in servizio di base.

Entrando nella hall, molto pulita, moderna. Il personale della reception era molto cordiale, la camera era pulita ma nella media. Non mi è piaciuta la sorpresa del parcheggio a pagamento al momento del check-in. Il letto era comodo, ma le pareti sottili. Ho sentito dei ragazzi nel corridoio che parlavano mentre cercavano di dormire un po'.

Molto buona permanenza. Candy al desk front è informativo e benvenuto che ha posto il tono per un grande soggiorno. De con valet è molto cortese e utile. Fato il soggiorno molto meglio. L’unica migliore cosa che poteva essere fatto è che i bagni potevano essere un po’ più puliti. Ho visto un paio di capelli nel doccia che mi hanno fatto chiedere la pulizia. Altrimenti, un posto molto bello per stare. Pulizia e buon servizio e servizi.
