"Abbiamo soggiornato qui per 3 giorni per il nostro anniversario. Era un hotel estremamente bello, situato in giardini bellissimi nel cuore del paesaggio Devonshire, che datava indietro al libro di Domesday. Era completamente ristrutturato l'anno scorso a un standard molto elevato. Il cibo era meraviglioso e i colazioni erano eccellenti con tanta scelta. La nostra camera era enorme con un moderno letto di quattro poster e un bel bagno. La letto era così comodo e le mutandine come dormire in nuvola. Il personale era eccezionalmente piacevole, molto utile e molto ben curato per le esigenze alimentari. Pensavamo che i prezzi fossero molto ragionevoli, considerando la posizione e l'hotel stesso e la qualità della cena."

"Our children paid for an overnight stay to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. Although having driven past it many times since moving to Devon 20 years ago, we'd never paid a visit. What we found was a superb pub/hotel. We were made very welcome by Alice, and were directed to our room. Like the rest of the hotel, the room was superb, with an on-suite toilet and bath/shower. The bed was huge and very comfortable. Tea and coffee, along with a kettle, were also available. Then came the evening meal. For the main course, we had the 10oz. steak, and what a joy that was! Cooked as requested and served with plenty of chips, mushrooms and onions. If that wasn't enough, there followed a wonderful breakfast the following morning, and yes. Alice, who was there when we went up to bed the previous evening, was STILL there in the morning! Thank you to to the staff, and particularly Alice, who made us feel very welcome and who made our short stay so enjoyable and memorable. 😀"

"Abbiamo appena tornato da un soggiorno di 4 notti nella stanza «Cider Press». (Sala 1). La stanza era magnifica - piena di carattere, una comoda zona di seggio, un comodo letto. Grande bagno. Il portatile era eccellente. La stanza era senza spot e ogni giorno la squadra di custodia ha fatto un ottimo lavoro ogni giorno. Ci piaceva il colazione ogni giorno, anche se il bacon bacon venerdì era un po' di un sacco di giù (late, sottocucinate, soggia) Mangiavamo nel ristorante due volte - il cibo e il servizio erano eccellenti. Il soggiorno stesso è stato molto buono, soprattutto perché il colazione è stato incluso. Un bellissimo pub/inn - saremo di nuovo."
