Shared dormitory doesn't fit "deluxe" category: no towel, no safe box, no A/C control available by default.
Good things are: kettle, friedge in the room. TV may be important for some guests.
Breakfast was minimal, no tea nor coffee.
Kitchen is good, interior of the house is beautiful.
Close to the coast and the local public transportation station.
Nice stay, in current setup feels as overpriced.

Brilliant homely little hostel, good locaton for Oistins fish market, buses into bridgetown, room to park a hire Car or an rented bike. Clean basic rooms, lovely air condition unit in room, comfortable beds, hand wash & tolet rolls provided. Good kitchen/ Dinning/ living room with TV. Warm welcome, helped & looked after by our host John. Like any hostel keep the kitchen area clean, washing up liquid is provided... Top tip... take a drying up cloth with you!

Jo was a wonderful host. Very friendly, helpful and accommodating to this first time visitor. I would definitely stay at Jo J's Hostel again. I had a great overall experience.

I think the amount is too much for a room you have to share with 2 others in that location and also share bathroom with other rooms. The air conditioning is not working too. Not at all convenient.

John was an excellent host, he took care of us made us feel right at home! Went out of his way to show us around, provided transport to and from the airport took us for food as well. He was kind and respectful and the place looked amazing it was a great barbados experience! Would definitely stay here again!

Set on a quiet neighborhood, very safe and homely. 15mins walk to the beach, located on a hill and enjoyed the walks to the Oistins bay gardens and beach.
Close to groceries and food options 😋

Wonderful time in Barbados
Jo was an excellent host. If you want to get along with him, you have to respect him and follow his house rules. He takes good care of his property, and he helped me a lot with tips to tours around the island. He is a good host and an excellent guide.
The van nr.10, just behind Jo's house, will take you to Bridgetown in 15 min.
A short walk down Gall Hill, and you are at Miami beach, a dreamy beach in Oistens.
Don't expect luxury, but Jo's hostel has the perfect location in town. Jo, thanks for everything.
