Miryana Guest House

Beautiful room with amazing view, a quiet oasis right in the middle of the old town city walls. We felt very much at home right away. This was the perfect choice for staying with my teenage son in Ohrid. Short walks to the fortress, spectacular churches, museums, the forest, the beautiful fishing village of Kanoe, and restaurants and shopping was also everywhere. I think I have never lived in such a quiet, nice place that also was so close to everything. My son would come to check out some of the art and the old town and then I could let him return to the wifi or go for a swim while I could continue looking at stunning frescoes. He loved it. I loved it. The host was very friendly and told me everything i needed to know to find the places worth visiting. The only drawback was the rooftop pool, that was not quite a pool. But who cares when the lake is right there down the stairs. The only drawback was some smell from the drains in the bathroom, but pooring water helped.
