La qualità dell'onsen nel distretto di Gero è davvero superiore. La pelle è molto setosa. La struttura del pavimento può sembrare confusa, ma ci siamo abituati molto rapidamente. L'hotel offre una buona esperienza di onsen e kaiseiki a prezzi economici. Molti giapponesi locali, quindi sembrava molto autentico. Gli unici aspetti negativi sono 1. mancanza di opzioni di intrattenimento, ad esempio spettacoli locali, arte e artigianato per bambini piccoli 2. Orario della colazione molto affollato. Potrebbero organizzare diverse sale per la colazione per distogliere la folla o dare biglietti con fasce orarie in anticipo.

No shuttle service after 8 pm, but free shuttle taxi service bfe that. Big, difficult to locate the hotsprings at the beginning. Very beautiful view of the town n river from the lobby. Breakfast is fantastic but time is short. Closed a bit too early ie 9am. some area in the tatami room has no heating. Making u easy to get a cold.

Great location, hardware is a bit worn out, room is big but considering the modern travelling the power outlets are a bit far from sleeping area, Japanese hot spring is very good, staffs are excellent

The hotel room was big and they provide free shuttle from train station to hotel and vice versa. The receptionist staff were friendly and can communicate in English. They booked me a private onsen, which was very refreshing.

Excellent! Very satisfied for this onsen hotel!! Definitely recommend this accommodation to friends and family. Everything is over expectation: services, facilities, room, public bath (onsen), food, and all. One drawback would be language barrier between some staff, but they really trying to communicate with us which is impressive. Also, there is a free shuttle bus service between train station and hotel during daytime, very convenient. Tips for me is to book this hotel on weekdays, it is half price cheaper than weekends or holidays.

Cost-effective accommodation in Gero Onsen This time I chose to stay at Gero Onsen Ogawaya. As soon as I entered, it exuded a strong Japanese antique style. The triple room was so big and the view was so comfortable. About the dinner, there are fresh sashimi, exquisite snacks, and Hida Wagyu beef that melts in your mouth. It will be an unforgettable experience. After a delicious dinner, it’s so cool to go to the hot springs! After waking up the next morning, go to Gassho Village and listen to the sound of wind chimes, which is especially peaceful.

Location is excellent, close to the main streets and restaurants. The hot spring baths are good too, particularly the outdoor pools.

Like the reserved onsen in the hotel. Great location and nice condition. Highly recommended!

Good impression. Both dinner and breakfast are perfect.

Room and Onsen is good, dinner is ok, very near to the train station.

Love this ryokan, there are 3 public baths and private onsen, with other facilities. The staff were friendly and helpful. The ryokan also provides shuttle bus from Gero station. Walking from the station is also not too far.
