This mail I wrote to the management of IBIS Offenbach Date: Sa., 12. Feb. 2022 at 21:04 hrs, but did ( till today 24 APR 2022 ) never get an answer, it seems that they do not care about customer feedback! So I feel free to post it here at Tripadvisor. Dear Ibis management, I feel totally cheated!! I booked this reservation exclusively because of the “included breakfast” ( as shown on the Accor website ). Realizing that the Hotel reservations for the weekend are low, you just simply close the facilities such as breakfast, reception service, welcome drink etc in order to become a phantom hotel. The main reasons why Accor customers are coming to the group, is just because of the professionalism.. Now, I feel treated worse than in a Youth hostel, in the JH Frankfurt/ Sachsenhausen they are still able ( even during the hottest pandemic period ) to keep the reception open and serving a daily 7/7 breakfast. A multi national group such as Accor should be able too! Usually, I go to the Ibis style Mosel Straße Frankfurt, they operate professional an fair. This means, due to lack of bookings they just closed the hotel for JAN/FEB 2022 complete. So there is no cheating of customers, no business no customers no disappointments! Tomorrow is Sunday and really difficult here in Offenbach, this industry area to find bakery locations etc. Why didn't you inform the customers about the partly closed Hotel accommodation and the cancellation of the breakfast. This could have been explained in your personal mail in order to give the chance/ option to the customer to change the Hotel location on time. Now it’s really misleading towards customers and it’s not worthy to be a part of the Accor group. At least, with a “little good will” a breakfast box could have been provided ( as last year ). There are so many options to solve such a case. I do not accept this kind of arrangement, that’s why I did not sign the documents in my room, I’m not ready to pay the full amount ( as mentioned I feel mislead and cheated ). I’m waiting for your answer and a new room rate calculation/compensation. I do hope for your understanding. Best regards.
