Giltraps Townhouse & Glamping

This place is unbelievable!! We were there for my hen party this weekend!! And we could not have had a better time!! The pods were clean and so cosy. Staff were so nice, and delivery of breakfast baps to the door in the morning is a great service!!! It has everything you need in one place!! The local pub across the road was ideal and so easy to get to from the glamping pods!!🙂

I would 100% reccomend thís accomodation. It was ideal for a girls trip and so cozy. The facilities were so clean and it looked magical at night. The view of the stars from the yurt made the stay so special. The little fairy doors around were so cute and the kitchen facilities were so modern. Elenor was so kind and accommodating and made us feel so at home. This place is such a hidden gem.

Visiting the area for a wedding and found this gem. Staff is amazing and the location worked perfectly for our family. The pub is across the street and is a ****! Love the character of this place, the staff and its soooo clean! This is a perfect getaway!

This is a super place for a group of friends to have a hen party. We had a fantastic package with accommodation (spotless and beautifully kept grounds) and a fab BBQ dinner in the pub across the road. We were free to use the common area for a really fun line dancing lesson. We danced the night away in the pub across the road. All the staff were very friendly. The nicest part was the delicious hot breakfast dropped to our door in the morning. Thank you! My only criticism would be that the bathrooms, although modern and clean, are a bit of a walk from the accommodation. It would be nice if there were some closer to the cabins. Thanks for a great experience.

We recently stayed in a log cabin at Giltraps Glamping and had an absolutely fantastic experience. The site itself is lovely and impeccably clean, making for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The log cabins were adorable, and our children fell in love with them instantly. They were so cozy that the kids didn't want to leave! The staff at Giltraps were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our stay. Their hospitality truly made our visit memorable. Kinnitty is a charming village, adding to the overall appeal of the location. We enjoyed exploring the local area and taking in the beautiful surroundings. We are already planning our next visit and can't wait to return. Thank you, Giltraps, for a great stay and for providing such a wonderful experience for our family! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a delightful glamping experience!

I booked this place for 1 night and boy did I regret it. We paid €228 for 1 night for 2 adults and 1 child not including breakfast! and I've never felt so ripped off in my life. This place is nothing like what the website portrays. When you arrive in kinnity it literally has very little here 2 pubs and a shop. You've to go to the pub to check in and then your brought across the road to the site which is at the back of the house. The site itself is on approx an acre of land with different size log cabins at the back of the house. The cabin we booked for 2 adults and a child had 4 single beds in it, no TV, no toilet and in serious need of a deep clean (see photos) there is communal toilets and a kitchen down a steep set of steps which are lethal at night. The toilets are modern but dirty. If your a light sleeper this ain't for you u can hear everything outside the cabin even people walking on the gravel which is laid all over the site. There is nothing here for children to do. I most definitely would not return here especially for the price as you'd get a hotel cheaper with clean facilities and a TV. If its food your after the pub only sells chicken goujons, pizza and chips not much of a choice. Literally the only nice touch I thought was the little tub of jellybeans they leave beside the towel they give u in the cabin. If you've mobility issues this place will not suit either.
