Terrible hotel- bathroom inside room - with no wall and no ventilation. Cobwebs, flooring is ice cold as it is cement flooring. The room stinks. There is absolutely nothing positive except the location. I would not recommend anyone. Also, there is no one during check in and check out which makes things even more difficult

In the middle of the village at the edge of a vinyard garten, the guesthouse is located in a former village house building. Rooms and interior have an asian touch, very well decorated and modernized. Cosy rooms and a modern bathroom with amendities. The owner is a professional stylist and you cn feel and see that. We stayed there in August, it was very warm, there is no air conditioning. Some rooms face the village street which is a bit noisey during rush hour. But it is okay. The river Rhine is across the street and a few metres away. Friendly staff. Check in and out is fully digitized. You get an access code in advance and can enter anytime. So this is perfect for those you do not favour a traditional hotel. Parking space is available around the corner. Nice winery with dining across the street.

Man wurde mit einer Baustelle begrüßt, niemand ist direkt ansprechbar (auf Rezeption und Kundenservice wird bewusst verzichtet)... Fühlten uns nicht willkommen. Eingangsbereich? Wohl etwas zu vintage. Auch hier fühlten wir uns nicht willkommen, geschweige denn wohl. Vorsicht: Sollten Hexen auf Besen und schwarze Katzen auftauchen, bitte nicht wundern - das wäre für diesen Schuppen eher im normalen Spektrum zu verorten.

Sehr geschmackvoll und individuell gestaltete kleinen Wohnungen in stilvollem, altem Haus, tolles Frühstück in der zugehörigen Bar-Vinothek, von der Straße im Ort her ziemlich laut. Stadtweil Winkel schön als Ausgangpunkt nach Rüdesheim oder zum Wanden auf dem Mühlenweg und Rheinsteig, sonst ohne große Attraktionen und Angebote.,

Bei der Ankunft war alles stockfinster! Kein Lichtschalter zu fnden... Den Raum Honigsack mussten wir suchen wie ein Osterei. Bei der Rückkehr am folgenden Tag waren die Zimmer nicht gemacht. Bei einem Preis von ~160€ erwarte ich, dass das unaufgefordert passiert. Eine positive Aufforderung gewünscht wird, muss das auch klar und deutlich sichtbar sein und nicht im Anschreiben an irgendeiner Stelle mit der Bemerkung bei "Wunsch bitte melden". Ich habe später versucht anzurufen, ohne Erfolg. Kein Rückruf. Schade, hätte sehr schön sein können, wenn jemand vor Ort wäre, der auf Fragen antworten kann.
