Grande hotel situato sul pedonale di Varna. Purtroppo il garage gratuito, segnalato durante la prenotazione è al momento in ristrutturazione. Abbiamo dovuto cercare un altro parcheggio a pagamento nei paraggi. Parcheggiare in zona non è semplice, oltre al fatto che prima devi contattare un numero bulgaro. L'hotel è molto grande e ben posizionato, stanza ampia, buoni letti, silenzioso, con parecchi cuscini. Bagno grande e ottima e spaziosa doccia. Kit asciugamani e saponi. Colazione buona e varia a buffet al 15 piano, salata e dolce, con bevande calde e succhi. Salendo una scala al 15 piano, c'è un piano bar. Sempre dentro hotel, dispone di un casinò.

Hotel situato a 5/10 min a piedi dalla cattedrale e circa 10 min dalla spiaggia. Camera spaziale e pulita. Parcheggio possibile in supplemento. La qualità dei pasti a mezza pensione è corretta, ma poco di scelta.

Hotel leggermente più vecchio con camere ristrutturate e ricezione. Le camere sono belle e servizio ok. Non è un hotel a quattro stelle. Forse la camera è tre, ma manca di attrezzatura per essere quattro. Il colazione è semplice e non più di due stelle. Letto un po' troppo duro per il mio piacere. AC è governato centrale con solo modesto controllo nella stanza. La temperatura della stanza è fissata ad alta. Cortine non completamente luminose. Un po' fuori dal centro della città. Quiet in hotel per la qualità del sonno

The receptionist was polite, kindly took record of my ID /Bulgarian passport/ had a short, friendly conversation with me and even went a little further by allowing himself to ask about my personal situation such as 'how my husband let me go to Bulgaria in a hotel, all alone' ; asked me to go on a date with him and last, but not least commented that since my husband is not in the country I can go on a date with him and that would not affect my marriage in any way. I have not made an issue of that situation as I told him quite clear and made him understand that does not matter what the situation is I would not cross the 'boarder' and there is not a chance in the world I can let any of this happen. Other than that - he has always had a smile on his face and operated an excellent example of customer service. Once I was checked-in I went to the room /405/ to find out there is nothing like what it was in the pictures advertised online on Booking.com and I got shocked, but I decided to deal with it on the next day. I was completely exhausted of the travel I have had in the past couple of days so I have only changed and went out for dinner. The male at the reception was again kind enough to give me some options for good places to have dinner near the hotel. I have then returned and went to bed straight away as I had an extremely important exam on the next day. The day is 12th of May 2022, 8:10 - I was woken up by two brown-ish dressed females who were dressed as cleaners but again had no badge on their clothes. They were shouting to each other from different room at 8AM which completely pissed me off as I could not have the rest I needed for the exam I had later on the same day. I made them aware that their behaviour is unacceptable and even then they did not apologise or even stopped. Since I was already woken up 4 hours prior my alarm I decided to check on Booking app what kind of room I booked as I know my wants and I doubted I would book a room that looks more like a cell in a prison in Bangladesh - with only a small window and hard access to natural day light. I then realised that the room I booked has a terrace and French windows which is nothing like the room I was hosted in. I have immediately called Booking.com's customer service and they arranged for me to be moved to the room I have actually booked. I have kindly asked for help to move my luggage and was told to ask 'the female on the 4th floor' who completely denied to assist me and even mentioned I am spoiled by my husband /which is a conclusion I believe no one should make verbal since they do not know me in person/. I have moved my luggage all alone and went for my daily tasks. Day 4 - 15th of May 2022; 12.30 PM - I have asked the female /picture attached below/ who again had not have any badge on her clothes for a coffee with milk and a bottle of water and then took a seat in the cafe area. I was told I could grab them in a very disrespectful manner and I was given a 'look' by the

Grand Hotel London è una gioiello, ma una gioiello che ha bisogno di lucidarsi, e una gioiello che ha bisogno di supporto se vuole completare un ritorno di successo dopo la pandemia. Abbiamo avuto una splendida suite che si guardava alla piazza (#1), che era meravigliosa di rimanere. Il bagno era moderno e completamente soddisfacente. Il personale era molto utile durante il nostro soggiorno, e abbiamo trovato il colazione abbastanza adeguato (anche se doveva passare per la sala da pranzo e poi per la sala da pranzo) Il bar era architettonico magnifico, ma quasi sempre vuoto, Il ristorante non è stato riaperto per il pasto serale. La posizione è molto conveniente per la spiaggia, i musei e le gallerie e la stazione ferroviaria. Un ultimo punto: c'è un grande albero all'esterno dell'hotel che ha bisogno di un radicale sbarramento per migliorare la vista all'interno e all'esterno dell'hotel.

Stayed here for a few days on our way to see a friend. The hotel is very clean and well maintained. The service is excellent. Two minor criticisms. The bar shuts too early (16:00) and the swimming pool in pictures is not part of the hotel. We thought it was.

Hotel is directly on the Main Street, with lots of little side streets to wander around nearby. Only 15 mins walk from the seafront too. Staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel was immaculately clean and room was spacious and well equipped. We didn’t have breakfast included in our deal, but got it cheaply there, for less than £10 for two of us. The sports bar in the hotel had really friendly staff and super cheap food and drinks. We also used the small ****** downstairs - it was machine only, but the hotel offers a free 10 leva bonus when spending 10, so a cheap evening out! Would recommend local restaurant, the Sundog and the Orient for lovely food. Only real tip to share is not to bother booking transfers from the airport to the hotel - we did and really overpaid! A taxi is only 10-15 leva (less than £10) and we paid double this as the hotel details stated it was an hour from the airport - in reality it was only about 15-20 mins. We travelled in the Easter holidays and many of the seafront attractions were not open, but still a pleasant place to visit and would be much luckier in the summer months!

Das Hotel ist sehr günstig und die Duschen sind schön kräftig und schnell warm, was nicht überall in Bulgarien der Fall war. Auch die Minibar im Zimmer hat diverse Snacks, wenn man spät ankommt und nichts mehr offem hat ist das super. Leider endet die gute Bewertung hiermit. Das Zimmer und das ganze Hotel ist extrem veraltet. Das schlimmste war der starke Gestank nach abgestandenem Rauch im Zimmer. Ich bin selbst auch Raucherin, aber dieser Geruch im Schlafzimmer geht gar nicht. Der Fussboden war zudem sehr klebrig, fast wie in einem Club. Die Gegend ist eher verlassen, ich kam u. ca. 21:30 an und es gibt nirgends einen Laden oder ein Restaurant. Ich habe 2 Nächte gebucht, bin aber nach 1 Nacht in ein nur wenig teureres Hotel näher am Stadtzentrum, welches hervorragend ist. Wenn einen den Rauchgeruch nicht stört und für eine Nacht ist es okay, aber ich bezahle lieber CHF 20.- mehr und habe dafür eine freundlichere, angenehmere Unterkunft.
