Hotel a 4 stelle popolari a Odense

Abbiamo soggiornato una notte in questo hotel per vacanza. La posizione è perfetta per girare in città, attaccato alla zona pedonale e con comodi parcheggi su strada per la macchina. L'hotel non è nuovissimo, essendo un palazzo antico, e in alcuni dettagli si vede (esempio i bagni) ma comunque ottimo per un breve soggiorno per vacanza. Le camere sono molto spaziose e pulite. Un pò di confusione nella sala colazione, che comunque è stata abbondante e di buona qualità (quasi tutto salato, ma è normale in Danimarca). Consigliato soprattutto per l'ottima posizione.

Great stylish hotel, perfect location right in the middle of town a few minutes walk to HC Andersen's House, and a really fantastic Danish breakfast. Staff were great. Loses a point for noise at night though, our room was above a propped open fire exit leading to a staff room, and we were woken a couple of times by a female employee loudly talking and laughing in this room. If this was noise from other guests it would be fine but employees should really be extra conscious of disturbing customers. Could do with something to stop pigeons roosting on windowsills too, we were woken early in the morning by three pigeons getting amorous... No Aircon and we visited during an unprecedented heatwave so this was very noticeable, but a fan was provided and the inwards-facing room was a bonus as we didn't have any sun shining on the windows.

Hotel con stanza molto grande, anche se la struttura avrebbe bisogno di una rinfrescata. Letto grande e confortevole. Bagno con doccia enorme. Colazione abbondante e varia, con classiche brioche danesi, grande varietà di pane e marmellate. Lo staff un po’ spigoloso in confronto agli altri hotel visitati, ma tutto sommato gentile ed efficiente

Modern and nice setup as this hotel is quite new. Breakfast was good with typical danish offerings. Could do with more options to be called a 4 or 5 stars hotel. Location is 15mins walk to city square area. Nearby with Netto supermarket. Room is ok but without toiletries and room amenities to comment. Basement parking but be WARNED that only park with hotel black floor label. As if driver can see the floor black label from driving position on first visit to the carpark. The carpark lots around the hotel entrance at carpark is NOT for guests. And you have to pay parking within 4 minutes in this carpark else you will be fined near to 120 Euro. Unlike all other carparks I visited in Denmark where I only pay upon exit for the hours parked. This is street parking underground! I wonder who can complete hotel check in 4 minutes including taking a lift up to the lobby reception. This carpark management is out to scam first timers to this place maybe to keep those carpark inspectors employed.

This was the second time we visited Knudsens Gaard and it was as good as the first time. The receptionists are very nice, helpful and service minded, the rooms are spacious, clean, are beautifully decorated and the beds are just excellent. The hotel is situated just of one of the largest roads in Odense, but they managed to keep the rooms quiet, you are not disturbed by road noise at all! The restaurant servers excellent food both for breakfast and dinner. All in all one of my best hotel experiences

It’s life dangerous during breakfast for nuts allergie people, you have walnuts in thee bread with no signs about it! One gram of walnuts could kill a person with nuts allergies. You have it together with other bread how you cut. You also mixed every bread with its other. There was no bread without seeds or nuts, we have to ask for a plain bread, that was only in your freezer. But one of your staff was kind to fix that.

Amalie B&B First impressions positive! Excellent host who responds when contacted, requested room change on ground floor, and had the perfect access, could park the car right outside the door! Outstanding The rooms were spacious, classic decor & set up, worked really well for us! Did look well used though but fine Bedroom had 4 beds, 2 singles & a bunk bed good for kids! Beds are a tad small but ok! Bed Side lamp, broken/not working, despite a reminder, not fixed! Living area spacious and generally clean NOTE: no broom or mop available, can’t clean the floor! Kitchen area, 2 ceran tops and a multipurpose micro wave/convection unit, useable but not for baking, (no instructions provided) No rubbish bags provided! (Only 3 for 5 days? ) House cleaning materials not provided! Example detergents (only dishwasher liquid available, 2 old rags, and 2 used scotchbright, pot scrubs) The chinaware well used but ok, glasses 2 sets 1 wine & 1 plastic! Cutlery incomplete, no soup spoons, but for 2 persons ok! Missing some basics like small cutting/carving knife’s! Else useable if no major cooking involved! Fridge worked fine, freezer needs to be de-iced! Pots & pans need some deep cleaning, no dishwasher! Bathroom good size, shower, no bath tub, but ok, only 2 medium & bath towels, Shampoo & Hand wash provided NO SOAP / BODY-WASH, bring your own! But good size and bright! Iron & Ironing board provided on request! Overall good stay, price/value is fine! Would come back!
