This is a beautiful hotel. It has so much character and its decor makes you feel like you've stepped back in time. At the same time offers all the facilities expected in our 21st century world. The breakfast is delicious and there is no stinting on food. Truly all you can eat. Not buffet style but served by friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are a delightful blend of old world charm and modern conveniences. I'd recommend this place to anyone.

Hatte mich richtig drauf gefreut, wieder dort zu sein. Leider wurde ich mit einer nicht so schönen Nachricht empfangen: das Restaurant hat seit dem 30.03.2025 geschlossen. Nur noch zu Feiern oder Themenabenden wird wieder geöffnet. Damit ist eine Institution verloren gegangen und auch der wichtigste Grund nach Ochtendung zu kommen. Zimmer sind wie immer und schon mehrfach beschrieben, da ändert sich sicherlich auch so schnell nichts. Mein Glück: am Mittwoch ist eine Feier und da können Gäste nach Karte essen. Schön, dass ich das noch mitnehmen kann. Ganz toll wie immer der Service und die Chefin . Rufe in Zukunft an und frage nach, wann wieder das Restaurant geöffnet ist und lege meine Termine drumrum.

Ein Jahr ausgesetzt, aber alles wie bisher. Zimmer ok, Betten zu weich aber Gasteltern sehr freundlich, Restaurant super klasse. Preis/Leistung sehr gut 👍. Frühstück ist ausreichend und gut, man bekommt alles auf den Tisch gestellt und hat nur bei den süßen Sachen eine Auswahl. Aber ist ok und dem Zeitgeist gegen Verschwendung und wegschmeißen absolut gerecht. Gerne wieder, aber die Betten….
