All roads are paved and accessible with a standard car. Easy to find at the corner of an intersection in Ocean View. Ocean View is the second largest subdivision in the world on the bigest island of Hawaii. Ocean View or HOV is comprised of 1 acre lots which span over 36 sq. miles. It's elevation goes from 1500 ft. above sea level to almost 5000 ft. above sea level. Myra's Blue Hawaii House sits in the lower part of HOV, at 2300 ft. above sea level. This means cooler daytime temperatures (lower 80's) and cooler night time temps (lower 70's-50's), coupled with trade winds our house stays comfortable without a/c.Our home is a great launch point to visit Papakolea Green Sand Beach, South Point Cliffs, Punalu'u Black Sand Beach and the Bake shop every morning for those delicious Malasadas! Volcanoes National park is less than an hour drive back to the house after spending the whole day with Pele'. Sleep like a baby to the sounds of Hawaiian country and nature. Our acre lot is surrounded by 3 more undeveloped acre lots! Being more than 40 miles to the nearest city Myra's Blue Hawaii House is not in your typical tourist area, our home is zoned Agriculture. We have an Orchid garden that has over a 100 different Orchid varieties, an orchid tree, palm trees, Bougainvillea, Ohia trees, and Hibiscus that all filled with glorious blooms at different times of the year. We also have fruit trees including Mango , Guavas, citrus varieties, a pineapple garden, Bananas, passion fruit and dragon fruit. We have coffee trees, Mamaki tea and the list goes on of amazing plant life to experience. The guest house where you will be staying boast a stunning view of the ocean for you to enjoy every morning and sunsets in the evenings. The layout is one main room that has two beds - one on each side of the room separated by a full length privacy curtain if you so choose.
