The Morgan house is a frame vernacular style home built in 1892. The home is named for Mathew Morgan, who was the Ocala Police Chief from 1923 until 1928. The suite contains it's own private entrance, living room, bathroom, dining room, full kitchen, stackable washer and dryer, bedroom, and a shared backyard area. The bathroom features a tiled showed fully stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and towels. The bedroom features a Queen sized four poster bed, armoire, antique vanity, sound machine, ceiling fan, Smart TV, along with an extra pillow and blanket. The kitchen features a full sized refrigerator, stove, dishwasher coffee maker, toaster, microwave, and essentials like salt/pepper, oil, tea, coffee, creamer, sugar, etc. There is a dining table for four. There is a stackable washer and dryer in the dining room as well along with an iron and ironing board. We do include a welcome gift of pastries to get you started on your first morning. The Living Room has a queen pull out sofa bed, two sitting chairs, a large smart TV, and an antique desk with a chair. The TV is a smart TV so bring along your login information for Hulu, Netflix, prime etc. If you don’t have a membership, each app offers free trials in addition to the other free apps on Roku and live TV tile on Roku. The back deck offers a gas grill, outdoor dining table, and outdoor furniture. There are two bikes available for your use as well. There is one reserved parking space provided. If another space is needed, please message me to make arrangements. **We offer one of the most affordable rates for a one bedroom within walking distance to the downtown restaurants/bars, shops, and entertainment. **There is no pet fee, no additional person fee, only a $60 cleaning fee. Guests are not asked to do laundry/cleaning etc. as housekeepers will take care of it upon check out.
