Cute Cottage-Historic District

This charming cottage is just steps away from the downtown historic square. The cottage is a separate building off a screened breezeway of a beautiful historic Morgan home. This frame vernacular style home was built in 1892. The house is named for Mathew Morgan, who was the Ocala Police Chief from 1923 until 1928. The cottage is about 400 square feet contains its own entrance, bathroom, bedroom, living room/kitchen, and private screened breezeway. The bathroom features a rain shower head, fully stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and towels. The bedroom area features a Queen sized bed, closet, desk, iron and ironing board along with an extra pillow and blanket. The living room/kitchen features a love seat, dining bar with stools, a full sized refrigerator, stove, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, and essentials like salt/pepper, oil, tea, coffee, creamer, sugar, etc. There is an all in one washer/dryer in the kitchen as well. We do include a welcome gift of pastries to get you started on your first morning. The TV is a smart TV so bring along your login information for Hulu, Netflix, prime etc. If you don’t have a membership, each app offers free trials in addition to the other free apps on Roku and live TV tile on Roku. The back deck offers a gas grill, outdoor dining table, and outdoor furniture. There is one reserved parking space provided. If another space is needed, please message me to make arrangements. **We offer one of the most affordable rates for a cottage within walking distance to the downtown restaurants/bars, shops, and entertainment. **There is no pet fee, no additional person fee, only a $60 cleaning fee. Guests are not asked to do laundry/cleaning etc. as housekeepers will take care of it upon check out.
