Hotel in zona Lidl, Oberhausen

Wir wurden an der Rezeption vom Personal sehr gastfreundlich begrüßt. Auch ansonsten ist das Personal sehr freundlich, man bekommt das Gefühl, willkommen zu sein. Der Raum am Empfang ist sehr sauber und modern ausgestattet. Den ersten schlechten Eindruck bekam ich im Fahrstuhl: etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber okay: mag ich mich nicht darüber beklagen. Los ging es als sich die Türen des Fahrstuhls öffneten und man die Flure der Stockwerke (Pural, nicht Singular! ) über die Ebenetage betritt: man wird empfangen von einem Teppichboden, der aus den 70er Jahren gleicht, dementsprechend sieht er auch befleckt aus, bis hinein ins Zimmer. Zimmer, erster Eindruck: in die Jahre heruntergekommen, erneuerungsbedürftig schmuztig! Da wir uns ein günstigeres Zimmer (als Komfort Zimmer betitelt) gebucht haben, möchte ich mich über die alte Möbel nicht beklagen, aber von Hygiene/Sauberkeit gab es keine Spur, egal in welchem Raum. Der Teppichboden war übersäht mit Flecken, die Fugen im Badezimmer verschimmelt, sowohl das Bettlaken als auch die Bettwäsche waren ebenfalls befleckt, dass einem der Ekel überkam. An der Kopfstütze des Bettes konnte man erkennen, wer sich schon alles über die Jahrzehnte den Kopf darauf abgerieben hat. Die obere Schicht hat sich schon mit Flächen abgeblättert. Mir war es wichtig, dass wir ein Doppelbett zur Verfügung gestellt bekommen, so wie wir es auch gebucht hatten. Auch an dieser Erwartung wurde ich enttäuscht, wir bekamen kein Doppelbett wie beschrieben, sondern es wurden zwei Einzelbetten aneinander geschoben. Nachdem ich mich an der Rezeption darüber geäußert habe, wurde mir gesagt, dass alle Zimmer so ausgestattet seien. Dann sollte man es auch nicht als Zitat: ”Alle unsere 103 Hotelzimmer / Appartements sind mindestens 25 qm groß, ausgestattet mit Doppelbett 1,80x2m...” -Zitat Ende- ...verkaufen! Die Kuhle zwischen den Matratzen waren auf jeden Fall groß genug, dass ich mit Rückenschmerzen am nächsten Morgen wieder aufgewacht bin. Vielen Dank! Da wir die Textilien auf dem Zimmer rundum eklig fanden, hatten wir in der Nacht in unseren eigenen Kissen und Decken geschlafen, die wir zum Glück im Auto liegen hatten. Natürlich hätte ich mich an der Rezeption darüber beschweren können, aber die Anreise war schon lange und anstrengend genug, da hatten wir keine Lust mehr, uns noch damit auseinanderzusetzen. Das Einzige, was mir am Zimmer positiv aufgefallen war ist, dass die Fenster Schalldicht waren, über die Ruhe konnte man sich nicht beklagen. Am Frühstück hatten wir am nächsten Tag keine großen Erwartungen mehr. Es war reichhaltig an Auswahl vorhanden. Das Frühstück an sich würde ich nicht empfehlen, aber es war ”okay”! Da wir tagsüber den ganzen Tag bis spät Abends unterwegs waren und nur eine Bleibe zur Übernachtung gebucht hatten, machten wir uns auch nicht mehr die Mühe uns ein anderes Hotel zu suchen, aber die Überlegung hatten wir. Eravamo in hotel alle cinque e avevamo due camere con porta a scivolo super classe. Bello hotel, molto pulito, grande bagno, letti confortevoli, bevande deliziose. Super connessione al negozio e come hotel musical- così l'abbiamo utilizzato! Personale competente e amichevole sia in reception, pulizia o bar. Anche il servizio di navetta era fantastico. Eravamo soddisfatti intorno. Super delizioso equilibrato colazione sana - tutto ciò che il cuore desidera. Da frutta/verdura fresca a frutta deliziosa, eccellente selezione di pane/fragole, specialità di tè e caffè. Non abbiamo mancato niente! La sauna privata era anche un sogno e ci siamo piaciuti completamente! Grazie per il piacevole soggiorno! Io perdone 5 su 5 stelle!

Questo edificio è costruito con pochi appartamenti e senza ricezione, quindi questo non è un hotel (il nome su Google Maps può essere fuorviante). Abbiamo affittato un appartamento 3-bedroom per 2 notti - cucina spaziosa, moderna, ben attrezzata con apparecchiature per la casa (non c'era niente che mancava). Un bagno principale e un secondo bagno. Parcheggio ampio al retro dell'edificio. Pochi minuti - siamo arrivati tardi di notte e l'intero appartamento era freddo perché il riscaldamento era sbloccato (bene tutti abbiamo imballato pigiama lungo maniche), confermo le opinioni che le matite sono morbide, quindi non necessariamente buone per tutti. Per un appartamento così grande e il numero di ospiti che può ospitare, ho perso un divano più grande / più posti in soggiorno, nella zona di soggiorno vicino al tavolo del caffè.

Volevo prenotare la mia terza visita a questo hotel, purtroppo li ho contattati per telefono e per posta per effettuare una prenotazione. Ma ... La prima volta per telefono mi hanno chiesto di chiamare un'altra volta mentre erano occupati. La seconda volta, il secondo giorno, mi hanno detto che mi hanno già detto che sono occupati a prendere la mia prenotazione e devo inviare la mia richiesta per posta. Il terzo giorno ho chiamato e mi hanno detto che mi controlleranno il mio mail quando sono meno occupati. Non volevo disturbarli più, perché probabilmente sono ancora occupati a fare altro che prendersi cura dei loro clienti. Buona fortuna se vuoi prenotare lì e hai lo stesso personale per gestire la tua richiesta.

Nu voor t****e keer in dit hotel. Het aanzicht en ontvangst hal is van dit hotel niets bijzonders, bij hotel zijn enkele parkeerplaatsen tegen betaling, de kamers en badkamer zijn netjes en schoon, niet al te groot maar voor twee dagen is het prima, het ontbijt gaat erg achteruit, weinig keuze in brood, geen beschuitje of sneetje wit brood, het centrum is op 5 minuten loop afstand.

Das Mercure Duisburg City ist mit dem Auto gut zu erreichen. Eine städtische Tiefgarage liegt unter dem Hotel (€ 12/Tag). Das Hotel macht zunächst einen guten Eindruck. Unser Zimmer war groß und gut eingerichtet. Das Bad ist sehr schön und einen kostenfreien Hotelsafe gibt es auch. Das Frühstücksbuffet bot eine große Auswahl und ließ keine Wünsche offen, wenn man davon absieht, dass es ab und zu keine Teller gab, der Kaffeeautomat regelmäßig ausfiel und Rührei nur sporadisch verfügbar war. Da unser Doppelzimmer zunächst nur für eine Person ausgestattet war ( eine Decke u. einmal Handtücher) wurde nach Reklamation bei der Rezeption nachgebessert. Die Körnung dann am zweiten Tag: die Zimmer und die Betten werden wegen coronabedingtem Personalmangel in diesem Hause nicht mehr gemacht. Reklamation bei der Rezeption zwecklos. Zwei Übernachtungen mit Frühstück im Doppelzimmer für € 186,- sind im vorliegenden Fall komplette überzogen. Ich werde hier nicht mehr übernachten!

Corretto senza più Le camere sono triste con i muri grigi e il moquette grigio. Dimensioni corrette. Le camere che offrono sul boulevard sono rumorose. Per una persona il letto ”grande” è dotato di un unico orecchino e di un cucchiaio 1 persona... Non l'ho mai visto. Privilegiare le camere accanto al giardino, la vista è molto più bella. La sala colazione è piacevole e il personale è accogliente.

Had a great stay in Moxy Essen from 11/06/2023 – 14/06/2023. I was travelling around the Rhine Ruhr region with my friend (and we both have Marriott Gold elite status from staying in a Marriott for university). This hotel was in a great location right next to the HBF station in Essen and was clean and modern. The bar had a good vibe and we had free drinks on arrival. We used points for this stay, and the way that the points worked out meant that we had 2 different bookings over 3 nights, but this was not an issue and we managed to get the same room for the duration of our stay (we even got a bonus welcome drink for it)! I’m probably not going to do the hotel justice here, but it was a well laid out and stylish hotel with decent sized rooms. We had a twin room to share and the staff made extra effort so that we were on the quieter side of the building. We initially checked into the hotel at approximately 2pm, but decided to spend the afternoon in Wuppertal. When we arrived back on the first night. I had a shower, and there was no shampoo. No big deal, but I ended up going down to reception to ask for some. The man couldn’t find any shampoo, but about half an hour later, some appeared, I think he probably brought I from the shop as it wasn’t in the normal bright pink Moxy bottle, but it was really nice of him to make the effort. That day, the weather hit 32 degrees and whilst we were waiting for the shampoo, we tried to work out how the air conditioning worked. Between me and my friend that I was travelling with, we couldn’t work it out, so we asked the employee. However, between the 3 of us and Google we could not work it out. Anyway, I think we were the only people in the hotel that night as this was approximately midnight local time, and I think we went in every room in the corridor. To try and find one with working air con. All of them were empty! We eventually found one that wasn’t like a sauna and packed our stuff and moved. The employee was genuinely the nicest and most helpful employee I think I have ever seen in a hotel, very apologetic, but also very sociable. It was really nice to meet him as he was so happy to help. Unfortunately I didn’t get his name, but he had a ponytail I think and said he was Turkish. I think he will know who we are when he reads this! I saw him off duty in the bar the next night and thanked him. We even got 2 free breakfasts out of this!! The breakfast was good, though probably not worth the price we were told when we booked (I think it was about 15 euros but can’t remember as I have stayed in about 5 hotels in the past week and they have all rolled into one a bit). There was a few cooked items (Bacon & Scrambled Egg) and a few cold/ cereal items, but not loads. I probably wouldn’t recommend getting breakfast as all the Moxys allow a free coffee/ juice in the morning and a pastry, which is a nice touch. Eine neue, gute Adresse. Die Gegebenheiten sind von solider, gehobener Qualität, der Stil des Hotels entspricht heutigem Standard. Bemerkenswert gut funktionieren die Lifts, bemerkenswert zugewandt ist die gesamte Rezeption. Die Preise sind fair, bei sorgfältiger Wahl auch günstig. Nicht ganz so günstig erscheint die Anordnung der Frühstücksräume. Ein großer Vorzug ist es dagegen, dass es im Haus einen Durchgang zu einem Fitness-Studio und einer Bar gibt, wo man auch spätabends und nachts noch Getränke findet, und obendrein auch den einen oder anderen Bissen. Great hotel situated by the Marina/harbour and ideally placed for the city centre. Exceptionally clean and very comfortable hotel. Excellent and varied choice breakfast buffet. Staff went out of their way to be helpful and very friendly. Would have no fears about recommending this hotel.
