Hotel El Nito Posada

This was a great hotel. We really enjoyed our stay here. I would recommend it to anyone. Front desk people were always very helpful. There is a bar next door but the noise didn’t bother us.

Room 10 too noisy- the bar next door you can hear music all night long ☹️

On the plus side, the hotel is in a good location. Close to el Zocalo. The staff are also very friendly. Unfortunately there’s not much more positive I can say. There was a horrendous stench in the bathroom as soon as we arrived, one of the beds was covered in ants (many of which made their way on to our luggage), there were tiny white spider-type insects all over the mirror, the WiFi didn’t work in the room so we had to go into the courtyard for internet access, and there were no windows so no natural light in the room. I wouldn’t recommend.

It was on a whole an average stay. I wasn't overwhelmed by the hotel but to be honest all i needed was somewhere to stay in a good location and this was perfect. Pictures aren't up to date, it is a bit older than what pics suggest. Still though it was generally clean, but could definitely do with a refurb. Staff were super friendly and happy to help wherever they could. Quite a family run vibe. Very secure as well, the gate is always locked but there is someone there 24/7 for access to guests. My flight was cancelled after I had arrived at the airport and I unexpectedly had one more night in Oaxaca - I went straight back to check in for one more night. So that says something on how much I rated it and didn't feel need to go elswhere.

Ubicación it’s excellent. It’s not much the hotel can do about be between two bars and it’s noisy at nights.

The staff was 👌 awesome

Good sized room. Spotlessly clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Comfortable bed and good sized shower room with hot water. Communal area very pleasant and a shady place to chill out in the afternoon. The hotels location is almost perfect, being only minutes walk from the market and cathedral square.

Very nice stay and very helpful staff. Close to Zocalo. A bit noisy during the nights due to a bar next to the hotel.

Small hotel in the middle of Oaxaca. Room was small but perfect for me. Didn’t like that they only give you one towel. Asked for another one never got it. Tiny bathroom but ok for me hot water all the time. They never changed my sheets. Even though I asked. 5 days same sheets. Never saw any housekeeping take sheets and towels from any room☹️ Asked to give me a clean towel on the 3 day. Don’t know if the one they gave me was clean or recycle ☹️
