Mi è piaciuto che fosse in una villa e a pochi passi dal Phipps Conservatory e dai musei Carnegie (a circa 15 minuti a piedi dall'hotel). La barista era gentile abbastanza da aiutarmi con le opzioni locali per la cena, e lei è andata fino a farmi una mappa, così potevo facilmente trovare i ristoranti. (Grazie per il lavoro straordinario. È stato molto apprezzato!) La passeggiata verso Shadyside era solo circa 10 minuti. Ci erano ristoranti e bar disponibili, più alcuni negozi. Visto frequente in questa proprietà. Relativamente bello, anche se leggermente più vecchio/più indossato della vostra media Marriott (ma non c'è alcun problema di pulizia). La Renaissance è migliore, ma di solito troppo costosa per la mia politica aziendale. La posizione è molto conveniente per l'Arena PPG e l'Università di Duquesne. La Renaissance e la corte sono preferite se si cerca un buon posto nel centro della famiglia Marriott. L'unica cosa che mi interessa è che non mi danno mai aggiornamenti di stanza o accesso allo salone come Bonvoi Gold (anche se li otterrò 30-50% del tempo in altre proprietà Marriott). Infatti, mi stanno costantemente accanto agli ascensori, anche se il mio profilo Bonvoi chiede il contrario. Quella cosa farà saltare qualcuno dai piedi un giorno, se non è già stata.

Really good location, just a few minutes walk from a very nice part of town. The hotel is very modern and comfortable with lovely amenities, including a pool and gym. Breakfast was generous although missing some bits, we were very happy. The room itself was very comfy and although the bedding wasn’t the nicest, it was very clean. I will say the area itself felt a little sketchy at night and we were concerned about the car, but all was fine. It was very different by day!

Well, I was expected a much nicer place from the positive reviews and the pictures. This place is pretty much a dive hotel that you stay in for a night after a long drive. We checked in for a two-night stay. I immediately did not like the place. It was old and run down -- nothing like the pictures. Checking in in front of use were five guys who were clearly coming from a work site, each holding a six pack while drinking a beer, and the two women behind us reeked of ****. This was not a good first impression. We checked into the room and were immediately overwhelmed by odors. First, someone was clearly smoking in the room. And if that wasn't bad enough, they tried to cover up the cigarette smell with a ton of air freshener. We weren't happy but sat on the bed to try to make the best of it for a night. Then the air conditioning unit started rattling to the point where there was no way I was staying. I approached the guy at the front desk and asked for a refund. He clearly wasn't happy about it but agreed to refund or money. I then asked for a receipt. He said he could not give a receipt. I thought that was nonsense but figured when I did not get my refund, I would dispute the charge. Although this hotel deserves only one star, we did get a full refund. The second star is for the they guy's honesty.
