Highlands Motor Inn

The motel was clean, comfortable and convenient, but the little things make all the difference. A windscreen washing station, fresh milk for cuppas and good quality tea and coffee were much appreciated. They also provided a microwave and toaster, and decent sized mugs. I've taken to bringing our own, but they weren't needed. Thanks for a lovely stay

Very comfortable bed, super king I think, it was huge! The room was very clean and provided a kettle, toaster, microwave and a coffee pod machine, biscuits, coffee and tea, also a bowl of chocolates! In the bathroom were pump bottles on the walls of Shaving cream, body lotion, hand wash, in the shower, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. everything you need! We were parked near the electric charger, very handy for our EV :) A very short walki into town and the staff were lovely! We booked directly with the hotel and were able to secure a discount, highly recommend doing this!

The motel is near the beginning of town and walking distance to the centre of town. The motel is quite cosy, the rooms are good, the housekeeping is spot on and the reception staff are very nice. Oberon is a little surprising as it is at 1110m above sea level, about the same as Lake Crackenback and higher than Jindabyne. I bet it is cold in winter

Excellent motel. Experienced and very friendly staff who made us feel welcome and comfortable. The motel is well positioned, close to shops and other facilities. Oberon town and surrounds have much to offer tourists with Jenolan Caves , Mayfield Garden and Bathurst close by, and this motel is a great place to stay.

Travelled to Oberon to attend partners public school 150th Anniversary. Caught up with many friends from school. The Highlands Motor Inn was a great place to stay. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly. We used our Stay Vouchers to pay for part of our stay. Very affordable weekend away. Our room was very comfortable and peaceful. It had been snowing the week before so I expected it to be very cold. But room was very warm and there were plenty of blankets. One of the best showers I’ve had at in a motel forever. It’s better than my one at home. Plenty of hot water too. Close to the Main Street so it was an easy walk. Will definitely stay here again.

Stayed for 2 nights whilst visiting some of the local attractions. The rooms were very clean and the bed very comfortable. Best of all, was very quiet. With overnights temps below zero, thought we’d have to run the air con all night, which I’m not a fan of. But the rooms were quite warm so meant we could switch off the heater and still slept really well. Definitely recommend this motor inn when staying in Oberon.
