Although the weather was rather poor, we had a very nice experience. The staff was extremely friendly and recommended a couple of places nearby we visited. The city of Cádiz was especially worth it the day trip. The food in the hotel is outstanding, We had lunch twice in the A la carte Restaurant Mercado del Sur and joined the evening buffet on another occasion. We also used the indoor swimming pool quite a lot. All in all a very pleasat stay.

The hotel is very well situated beside a lovely pine wood and just behind a spectacular beach called Playa La Barrosa. The beach is about 8 km long, good for an everyday relaxing walk. We found the hotel very quiet, although it was almost completely full. Excellent food, nice staff, good installations. Especially worth mentioning is the animation team and the evening shows. We really enjoyed ourselves and would like to come back, but next time maybe in the spring.

The bed are big and very comfortable, after a week of stay you won't still miss your own bed 😅 ! stuff are very nice and kind. Not everybody speak English but you can communicate with them easily ! Again have to mention that they are very nice and hard working. You gonna love these people as they always smiling. The pools outsid are so nice and clean. There is a life guard at the pool. Food is amazing, fresh and tasty. You have a lot of choices and if you still want to eat healthy during your holiday, hier you can enjoy a lot of fresh healthy choices! Stuff in the restaurant Zahara, amazing people ! So lovely and nice! I recommend it to everyone who gonna travel to Spain 🇪🇸 ❤️

Amazing hotel and especially the staff, exceptional service, friendly and fantastic. We have been coming to this hotel for over 12 years and attention to details as great as always. Additional praise to the staff at pool restaurants for their special attention towards us and the kids.

Large car park but no free spaces. It seems people park there to use the beach and the hotel doesn't control it. Only two disabled spaces. Initial greeting from reception was extremely cool to say the least. We were informed that the other guests were all German and there seemed to be great disappointment that we were not! If you speak to the staff in Spanish or English they mostly reply in German anyway. The hotel is enormous. Long walks to dining rooms, pools reception etc. The signposting within the hotel is terrible which does not help. Showers over bath. Just not suitable for disabled people at all. Staff in general not helpful and bad attitude. Example. We asked for a kettle in the room. They said they would "try". They did manage a kettle but no cups, no spoons, no tea or coffee etc. The food was dire. Everything was cheap quality and badly cooked. They served some griddled sole pieces which were so thin that they were just skin and bone. These were only fit to be used for making soup or stock. The plates were not heated but the food was not just like warm some of it was simply clap cold. Breakfast no better. Not even real bacon it was nasty reconstituted something. We were booked for five nights but left after one.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom senior suite for 1 week. Positives: room really spacious and clean and although a little old fashioned was very good quality. I was really happy in this room. Swimming pools both excellent albeit a bit cold. Food was excellent quality on the buffet and service was very good. As good a buffet as you will get. Meet and Fish were noticeably good quality. The beach bar was great and a nice place to be, apart from no kids menu food and so they had to settle for a burger. Service in the hotel was also top notch and staff all seemed really engaged. I used the Gym as well which for a hotel was decent The only negative, and I am not sure what the hotel could do is that the hotel is huge, and has a feel of an American convention centre. It just did not have a holiday feel. Not sure how that is really fixed TBH.
