From the moment we arrived, we were immersed in the highest level of warmth and hospitality. Every team member we encountered was a genuine gift of their own. Owner & visionaries Steve Jacobus & wife Ericka are hands on at every turn and have created something one of a kind extraordinary. Sweeping views of ocean and jungle, finest furnishings, open air lanai settings, innovative food & drinks, gorgeous yoga shala, and terrific massage practitioners. We LOVED our stay at Tierra Magnifica! My husband and I and my mom spent 6 nights at this beautiful, peaceful hilltop sanctuary last week. Everything was perfect, from the moment we were greeted with welcome drinks and appetizers, to our gorgeous rooms with breath-taking views of the jungle and ocean, morning yoga with Ana while being watched by monkeys and iguanas while listening to her beautiful voice, incredible breakfasts, poolside snacks and delicious dinners, shuttles to the beach, relaxing time around the pool enjoying an awesome playlist, massages and our laundry delivered warm from the dryer and folded in a basket each afternoon. All of the staff were highly personable, attentive and professional ( Stephanie, Alexandra, Juan Carlos and his colleague at the concierge, Ana and others). The kayak excursion through the mangroves with our highly enthusiastic and hilarious guide David was fun. We also were blessed to meet the very gracious owner and host, Steve, who was incredibly helpful, kind and generous with his time and attention. Our stay at Tierra Magnifica was truly exceptional. Every aspect of our vacation, from the beautiful room and impeccable service to the delicious restaurant and convenient laundry, exceeded our expectations. The concierge's proactive assistance with our airport shuttle before our arrival set the tone for a seamless experience. Throughout our stay, they were readily available via WhatsApp, ensuring all our needs were met. The serene pool and daily yoga classes were highlights, and seeing Loretta each day added a special touch. We're incredibly grateful to Daniella, Joshuan, Michelle, and Melanie for their outstanding service. We can't wait to return!

Amazing place - wonderful staff, gourmet food, beautiful views. The staff made us feel so welcome. The hotel is elegant in an understated chic kind of way. Unique location. We saw wild monkeys from our room, and some other wild life. We are definitely going back in the future.

This hotel provided the best of both worlds: Relaxation with incredible mountain views and surfing down at their beach surf club. The hotel provides complimentary hourly shuttles between these locations with the most personable driver. I went on vacation for one week with my two sons and we all agreed that we will be returning......to THIS hotel. The hotel has impeccable personal service. Every staff knows the first name of each guest. No matter where we were in the hotel and no matter at what time: by the swimming pool; by the billiard table; playing cards in the conference room, a staff member made sure that we were never thirsty. The top for us was the food. There are no words to describe the dishes. Each dish, from the breakfast, lunch and dinner menus were amazing. The presentation and quality of each were always delicious and always consistent. We ventured out 3x for dinners at other noted restaurants and concurred that Huacas Restaurant was the best.

We had a gorgeous 3 night stay at Tierra Magnifica, to finish off our Costa Rica trip and celebrate my birthday. It's a truly special place, with idyllic views and extremely kind staff. I have a number of complicated food sensitivities and the waiters and chef went out of there way to ensure I could enjoy good food and even made me a water melon birthday cake! We hope to come back here again soon!
