Astra Hotel Boutique

We stayed for three nights. The room was top-notch—clean, extremely spacious, including the bathroom. We dined in the restaurant on the first evening, and it was so good that we didn’t even bother checking out other restaurants for the next two evenings. We met the owners, who were super nice, and we had a great time chatting with them. The food was spectacular, from the appetizers to the main course, and the menu was extremely versatile, offering everything from steaks and fish to sushi. We’re definitely going back!

I recently had the pleasure of leading a yoga retreat at Astra Hotel in Nosara, and our group had a wonderful time! Since we had the entire resort booked out, it felt like our own little oasis. It was the ideal setting for our group to unwind, connect, and grow together. The staff at Astra were incredibly accommodating and friendly, always going above and beyond to make us feel at home. A huge shoutout to Chanil for making the experience truly special. Her kindness, and attention to detail made our retreat seamless and unforgettable. The yoga space was beautiful and thoughtfully designed, which created the perfect atmosphere for our yoga sessions. Also the food was next level - wow! Each meal was nothing short of incredible. I now completely understand why Astra's restaurant is considered one of the best in Nosara. Meal time became one of our favorite times to bond between retreat activities. The freshness of the ingredients, and the variety of the meals we enjoyed were outstanding. A special mention to Roy as well, who contributed to making our experience even more enjoyable. If you're planning a retreat or just a getaway to Nosara, Astra Hotel is the place to be. You’ll feel supported, nurtured, and completely taken care of. The hotel is modern and very nice. Breakfast is included and delicious and the staff made our stay both comfortable and memorable. It is within walking distance to Playa Pelado and a quick 5 minute ride to Guiones. Looking forward to coming back.

Astra Hotel was a fantastic place to stay in Nosara. The hotel is a great place to stay to relax and unwind. The rooms are spacious, with comfy king beds and private terraces. They also have a great restaurant Le Stelle that has delicious food and a great bar. The hotel is also near beautiful beaches and excellent shops and restaurants in town. Finally, the hotel staff provides amazing service. Special shout out to Chanil for all her help during our stay. This property has a lot of potential. The individual staff members were nice and very eager to please once we engaged with them. But from the moment we arrived until we left, it was clear that the hotel guests are not priority, as everyone’s main focus seems to be on their onsite restaurant (breakfast was very good!) When there were issues with water, we had to ask for updates. We had to ask for our room to be freshened up after several days. Maybe I’d be less critical if we didn’t pay a pretty high price to stay. We were disappointed.

Hotel astra is a very nice boutique hotel in the middle of the jungle! Total privacy! The rooms are top and the salt water pool so nice to swim! Service excellent and very nice! The bed and pillows are so comfortable! I definitely come back! The music at the pool chill out relaxing!
