Hotel in zona Salcey Forest, Northampton

Oltre ai denti e ai trattini, ci sono altre cose, la camera è anche comoda, l'acqua calda è abbastanza, la stanza non è fredda, quando il tempo è caldo circa 4-10.L'atteggiamento del personale della reception è amichevole. La posizione geografica è eccellente. Ci sono cinque minuti a piedi dalla stazione ferroviaria di Ampton. È molto conveniente andare a Edimburgo per la mattinata.

L'hotel non è niente di speciale, camere piccole e non molto pulite. Colazione piuttosto minima ma soprattutto camere gelide, da non dormire dal freddo (nonostante stufetta e fan coil). Prezzo esagerato per il servizio. Personale molto gentile però. Magari in estate non fa così freddo...

This hotel is steps away from the centre and steps away from the iconic Roadmender venue. There are PLENTY of food places, bars, and shops within walking distance. Only downfall for me was the pool being nomore :( Please bring it back, I intend to use you every time I visit Northampton now and would love a cheeky swim. Other than that, a lovely hotel with lovely staff, I'll be back.

Hotel pulito con un buon accento sul servizio e una buona offerta di cibo. Signore come voi qui spesso e sempre felice di tornare. Personale molto personali e grandi pigi!

Abbiamo soggiornato qui per la notte, abbiamo cenato e colazione. Le camere sono pulite e ben tenute, ma il personale è indifferente e non benvenuto (a parte il personale di pulizia). Il figlio dei proprietari ci ha accolti e non era particolarmente benvenuto. Nessuno di noi può ricordare se ha detto ”ciao”. In ogni caso, una ricezione fredda. Il personale del bar è freddo. Il colazione era un sacco. La giovane ragazza che serve la provava davvero il meglio, ma è chiaramente lasciata in mano dalla direzione. Non ci salutiamo all'arrivo. Nessuno occhiali puliti. Un bar di cereali che guardava e non eravamo sicuri se le tazze di caffè fossero pulite o no. Per un B&B, avete solo due cose da correggere, ma l'esperienza del colazione non è considerata. Dopo aver controllato, nessuno si allontanava da quello che io presumo fosse un manager di lavoro femminile, che chiaramente non vuole essere lì perché c'era un impegno zero. Non il peggiore posto che ho soggiornato, ma dubito che saremo tornati come se tu fossi fatto sentire come se il cliente sta arrivando in strada. In generale, è vergognoso perché ciò che hai visto in TV è a un milione di miglia dalla realtà, soprattutto quando il figlio dei proprietari ti controlla come è freddo.

All the rooms I've stayed in over the number of weeks I've been working away have been clean and tidy. The staff are very friendly and happy to help with anything. However, one member of staff called Les goes above and beyond his duties which is greatly appreciated. Les quickly noticed during my first stay that on a morning I have 3 heavy boxes containing work equipment that I have to take to take too and from work. Les took it upon himself to remember the time I leave for work so gets ready to open the doors in advance and helps me carry my boxes to my van. He is such a friendly man who obviously takes pride in his job and always puts the customers first. It’s my pleasure to have met all the staff but Les in particular. In my opinion Les should be the first in line for any promotions on offer at the travel lodge.

Un hotel inglese molto tradizionale, come il ritorno al XVIII secolo.Un buon ambiente, una colazione inglese, un hotel molto aromatico.

I stayed her for one night on a business trip in August 22. It is a bland hotel on an industrial estate on the (very) outskirts of Rugby, close to the M1 and A5. Check in was OK and the room was clean and a decent size. The bed was comfortable but the air-conditioning was very noisy and in the end I decided to turn it off despite it being a hot evening. Shower was fairly good as well, so overall in this respect things were good. The sound on the TV was dreadful, very tinny and hard to understand, but at least it worked and did not keep dropping signal. I wanted to eat dinner but on check in was told that last orders that night would be 7:45 pm, which seemed very early, especially when told the bar would be open until midnight. The restaurant is next to the bar, and the only difference between the two areas is the type of seating, which reminded me of a school canteen. Anyway having decided to just accept the early times and eat there I went down and placed my order for one of their daily specials, Hunters chicken with saute potatoes and veg. Sounded great, but when it was delivered I was a bit shocked, as it was the smallest piece of chicken I have ever seen. Potatoes were nice, and there was lots of cheese and bacon, but the veg was tasteless and very wet, seemed to have been boiled to death for many days! Breakfast the following day, charged at £10 despite the website saying it was £8.95, was equally as bad. Firstly the main coffee machine was broken, then the toaster also would not work, and when they fixed it (after I had finished by breakfast), it only cooked the bread on one side. The sausages were rock solid, overcooked and then left to dry out, the bacon was OK, as were the beans, but generally very poor. Certainly not worth £8.95, let alone £10. Overall very disappointing for a big brand name hotel. I certainly won't be rushing back despite it being close to where i will be every few weeks. I will be looking for other alternatives as this was not worth the money being charged.
