Summer Nites

We had our son’s wedding party stay at Summer Nites bed-and-breakfast in May, and Sheila was the most amazing host! Everything was perfect- just as we hoped , and Sheila definitely went the extra mile to help us have a very special weekend! Thank you for all your attention to detail and being such wonderful hosts.

Dear Shelia and Rick   Thanks for a terrific stay over the July 4th weekend.   The inn is as described on the website – but better. Rooms are uniquely themed with the exact right touch of furnishings and memorabilia. My husband and I enjoyed the Hot tub, the bikes, the vintage black and white console TV in the lobby and those gorgeous mid-century lamps.  Bed was super comfy, the breakfasts and afternoon treats were wonderful. Super close to the beach.   You and your staff were most friendly and helpful. We will most certainly recommend you to anyone who is going your way, and you will see us again.     We thank you for your hospitality - you made us feel very much at home…

A great place, the rooms are decorated beautifully, breakfast was delicious, the best homemade banana bread, waffles, and 4pm root beer floats or milkshakes. Firepit in the back with hot tub. Great location can't wait to go back. Shelia is an amazing!!

The Summer Nites B+B is a wonderful choice to stay when visiting North Wildwood, New Jersey! The rooms are large and spacious with all the amenities you would need when traveling. The building has pretty curb appeal and an interesting history. It is centrally located within walking distance to the famous boardwalk. It has a beautiful and comfortable wrap around porch in which to sit and relax. There is a couple of hot tubs and a fire pit on the premises. The owners, Rick and Sheila are the kindest, most pleasant people you could meet! They will go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable, memorable, and enjoyable as possible! The rooms are decorated in all kinds of retro vibes, from Elvis to different eras of music, so you can relive the fun times of years gone by. Be sure not to miss the late afternoon refreshments! You will not leave hungry! The breakfast was super huge, hot, and delicious! Could not have been better! The hosts will go the extra mile with special touches like celebrating holidays and giving you a memento of your stay. Keurig coffee is available in the common area, as well as a full-size pool table! Vintage pinball games await on the lower level. There are jukeboxes so you can spin some good music in the “diner” breakfast area. We wish we had more time here but hope to visit again! The bed was comfy, and the shower was great! Good pressure, temperature, and drainage, which is important to us travelers! Once you stay even just for one day, you will feel like you’ve made a friend for life- that is you, Sheila! Thank you so much for making a quick, spontaneous weekend at the beach a memorable one! We smiled, laughed, talked and made the BEST memories!!! Staying at Summer Nites is like staying with family. Sheila is the most dedicated innkeeper I have come across. The accommodations are top notch no matter which room you have and all the breakfasts will make you diet when you get home. Always freshly made with several choices.

But, oh. Those summer Nites! (Tell me more, tell me more....) My wife and I have never been to the Jersey Shore. I had booked a spot for Corvettes on the Boardwalk in Ocean City and needed a place to crash. But where? I found Summer Nites and from the pictures it looked like a beautiful seaside mansion. Sold! We arrived on Saturday night for a two night stay. Sheila greeted us and proudly showed us her home. The theme throughout the home is the fabulous 50's. We're shown into the kitchen and it is a beautiful recreation of a 50's style diner. Each booth has a few quarters to play the authentic jukebox loaded with, yep! 50s and 60s style records. I had that bad boy crankin' the Beach Boys and Frankie Valli. There is a working Coke machine (with dimes in a can) grab yourself a bottle anytime! There are two working hot tubs on the property and the front porch has rocking chairs to sit and relax. In the garage, Sheilas husband has his 57 Chevy waiting to cruise. Sheila & Rick are car people too?? Very very cool. Each morning we were greeted with an amazing breakfast. To start, a large fruit cup and freshly baked muffins were waiting for us. I poured myself a coffee as I was served a delicious homemade waffle and sausage. This has to be the best Bed & Breakfast I ever stayed at. Our room was the Marilyn Monroe room. Lots of Pink! When I walked into the room, I didn't know what to expect. My wife filled up the Jacuzzi and used the bath bomb in the water. After a 10 minute soak, I can understand why JFK kept Marilyn as his side piece. We checked out on Monday, we were the only guests in the B&B. Sheila sat with us and we talked about the future events at Summer Nites. Sheila, I can honestly say we had a great time and cannot wait to return next year.
