Karumba Point Holiday & Tourist Park

Lovely park, wonderful staff, close to the beach and a short drive to the main township. Prawns were amazing! Staff very friendly and accommodating. Very bad wifi coverage but who cares!! Your in Karumba! Excellent facilities, very clean and sites are huge.

We were in a camper trailer, in peak season. We were only new to camping and because there was so many people there it was a bit tricky backing the trailer into a very small spot. But one of the staff members came down to assist us and made the process a lot more easier for us. The staff here could not be more helpful. They are friendly and kind even during the rush times, they always had a smile on their face. The amenities are always clean and tidy, I give their amenities 10 stars (we have seen many places) . Cannot fault anything in this park. It also has a great pool and is close to the water and a short walk to the incredible Sunset Tavern, great place to see the sun set and terrific meals.

Lovely staff, clean, shady, good facilities and a great location. Amazing birds, and sunsets from the point. We would come back. They are even licensed and sell booze to campers. Ashes and the sunset bar are good local places to visit. Lots of birds in the site, brolgas and wallabies nearby. $4 washing machines. Curtains in the shower cubicles was handy. Great local frozen fish fillets for sale in the shop .

Excellent staff, very helpful, great layout of park, exceptional clean amenities, close to everything. Probably one of the best caravan parks we have stayed in throughout 3 state’s. Highly recommend this park. Shade, pool, shop with takeout food & alcoholic, fresh seating ect

Very welcoming. Best fresh prawns so tasty. Happy hour excellent. Enjoyed the birdlife especially the Eagles they are in abundance. Best sunset from tavern 1.2km down road. Good size park with fish cleaning area.

We booked and paid online for an unpowered tent site for one night. Lucky we didn't do two. When we arrived staff were friendly but informed us we owed another $10 for an extra child. We checked our booking it had both our two children. They claimed it was an error on their booking system. I'm still confused. So we paid a dollar more than their powered site in the end $47. For a site right on the highway next to the camp kitchen. Yep confused. My daughter didnt feel welcome to use the pool as there was a bunch of teens in it. Not real kid friendly place. We kept our dog tethered all night and walked him on leash yet in the morning a long term resident came to our camp. We thought she wanted to pat our border collie but she made him creep up and then made a point we weren't holding his leash and it was park rules. ***. It was because her doberman barks at anything going past. Who does that. Very happy to leave. The vans all looked packed in with no view and tiny slab.
