Tasteless food and Poor Service

Having stayed in so ***y properties in India in the past few years and standards in general dropping because of them being overbooked - I had low expectations from this one too.! However upon check in - we were amazed at the hospitality and service this hotel could provide! Daisy, Durgesh and Deepak at the front desk were super accomodating and friendly. All our in room dining requests were taken into consideration. At the restaurant we opted for a dinner buffet one night, and *** we were in for a treat! Chef Vikas, Akhil, Chetan, and Smriti went out of their way to ensure we were served a fabulous meal, and took extra care to help with celebrating a birthday, and my allergies! A special shout out to the in room don’t g and house keeping staff who are relentlessly on their toes, all with a smile! wish I could remember all the names but sadly can’t keep up. All in all a fabulous experience, especially with the pool, views, and the vibe they have to offer.I hope every Marriott hotel matches up to this standard of hospitality and service.

Checkin little slower than expected But early check-in was organized By Bharti Rooms decent sized with excellent view of lawn ,swimming pool, mountains Airconditioner works well TV settings are problem area which management need to handle F &B service is excellent Vast spread of breakfast offered options with great taste ..lot of veg dessert Morning 6.30 am ,I could get adrak chai at restaurant ..thanks to Tushar Room Infra has some issue ..which got resolved by Imran Service is slow ,but let me highlight that in mahableshwar all activities go on with slower pace If you demand service , you will get it without any refusal Plenty of areas with in the premise with great views

Please do not visit this Marriot if you have any expectations of services or infrastructure. My room had some old phone and no instructions on how to contact guest services. My room also has no bath linens. I needed to contact house keeping but I was stranded in my room and I had to walk up to the reception with my complaint. She told me the weak reasoning is that they inform during checkin to dial 0 however i wasnt and other rooms had modern phones with the guest services button. The best part of my experience was that even after escalating the issue , I did not receive any linens. Definitely not up to Marriot standards which otheriwse offer good infrastructure at the very least.

The hotel has a great location. The swimming pool and entertainment area are great. We property is well maintained and the staff is excellent. The food was amazing! There were a lot of strawberry themed items in the menu. Special thanks to Chef Sushant Ghorpade for his recommendations.

Me, my wife and son visited Marriott for Sunday lunch in Mahabaleshwar. The beautiful and scenic al fresco restaurant was a mesmerising place to have lunch in. Truly lovely ambience and food. The service was top notch and the restaurant staff were very cordial and well trained. We were in for a surprise as Mr Kapish approached us and asked if my son wanted to join some cooking activity. My son had a lot of fun making cookies with Kapish and Chef Suraj. Thank you to the Marriott team for such a wonderful experience at your hotel.

We travelled to Mahabaleshwar with our in-laws and my sisters family to celebrate my in-laws 50th Anniversary. Overall it was an amazing experience. From the booking process to the check-in and arrangements made by the hotel were all fabulous! Special thanks to Kapish for organising it all so seamlessly. He was like our own family member at the hotel and was always available to assist us with our needs. It was truly hospitality at its best. We opted for deluxe rooms and a pool villa. We found out that our deluxe rooms were upgraded to Garden villa rooms which was a nice surprise and beautiful gesture by the team. Manoj from the restaurant was also immensely helpful when it came to our food preferences and requirements and managed to make us feel right at home. We requested for Maggi to be served for our get-together and although it was out of the norms he went out of his way to fulfil our needs. Abhishek from housekeeping and his team were on top of their game as they arranged for all necessary things we needed to have a nice get-together at our pool villa. From decorations to maintaining impeccable rooms, the housekeeping team was always on point. There were few glitches in the beginning of our stay but one call to Kapish was all we needed to get them sorted to enjoy a glitch-free stay at the property. He ensured we had a pleasant stay and even better experience for our in-laws 50th! Thank you Kapish, Manoj and Abhishek! Some things that can be improved are the buggy services which can be more prompt and food delivery to villa rooms which can be made but quicker.

I had booked a stay for 2 Nights in Mahabaleshwar. This was my first time in Courtyard. We were in touch with Kapish from the time of booking our holiday and booked a garden villa. We checked in late and due to some mix up at the reception and reservation we were not given the room we were expecting after seeing the pictures online. When neither of these parties seemed like they could help me, I reached out to the person who I was in touch with initially. Kapish turned our stay around from being a sour experience with his mere presence. He was a dependable person in the hotel who we could go to for anything. Furthermore I found out that I made my payment to the wrong bank account and was immediately driven into panic as I assumed that I had lost my money. But Kapish reached out and maintained a calm composure with intent to help rather than what I have seen in other hotels where staff generally has a very indifferent demeanour towards the guests woes. Such warmth and empathy is a lost virtue in recent times. We came to Mahabaleshwar for the view, but made a friend instead. We loved the food in the Restaurant as well. The Rajasthani decor was quite a unique experience and the food was pretty good. Mamta in restaurant was always helpful when it came to our dietary needs and was always ready to go the extra mile. Deepak from the reception was an exceptional person as well, always greeted us warmly when he saw us and assisted with our room change on our check-in and super helpful throughout. I would like to highlight to the management that you have great team at your property and they will do wonders for the guests visiting you. Regards, Abhay
