An's Eco Garden Resort

I made a mistake by selecting this hotel, it is very isolated and away from town with tough road access. It would be good for somebody who's looking for a retreat. However, there are many better options near to Tam Coc town where you can have access to restaurants, shops, tours, night walk, etc.

An;s Eco Garden is surrounded by mountains, small lake and beautiful landscape. Although it gives a sense of isolation, it is quite close to center city of Ninh Binh, easy to pick up transport with a Grab or taxi. I loved the bungalow we stayed in. Although it looked rustic, it was quite modern! It was clean and comfortable, offering a sunny large window and front porch. The lodge provided bicycles free for use, which we used to get to Trang An and Mau Caves. The terrain was flat, so it was an easy ride. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful with suggestions and setting up tours. The lodge offered a wonderful buffet breakfast, which we ate sitting in their garden. We also enjoyed the tranquil pool, while having a drink looking at the beautiful setting. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to family and friends. Loved it!

Truly a full service operation 😊 with airport pick up in Hanoi. The staff was very helpful with everything. They have motorbikes to rent and bicycles free to use.😊 above average food,a nice relaxing swimming pool and comfortable room. Highly recommended ❤️

The hotel is located in the middle of nowhere between the rocks, the views are amazing! The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very good, with big bed, toiletteries, free water. There a beautiful pool. The breakfast is ok, not too much of choice in case you are difficult. You can also have lunch and dinner in this hotel. The hotel also organizes trips around the famous places which are not long time drive around. The WiFi is good.

The valley where the accommodation is is amazing. We loved our bungalow and the swimming pool was really nice, you could have a bath in the middle of nature. The environment is very peaceful and relax. The breakfast was very local and reasonably varied. The dinners were very nice too, although I wouldn't recommend the boiled goat as ir was made out of the skin of the goat rather than the meat... not definitely the best goat we tried in Ninh Binh.

Wow! This place is truly amazing. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful, each one of them was so friendly and always put a smile on our faces. Rooms are very well kept, comfortable and cosy. The hotel grounds are truly stunning and directly within the nature. The atmosphere was tranquil and peaceful and was a brilliant escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. Food was great and fresh too! We’d highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Ninh Binh who may be looking for a relaxing time with the most beautiful views to wake up to.

This resort is set at the foot of limestone rock, like a land version of Ha Long bay. It is the most beautiful oasis of calm, located down a long lane and features quirky accommodation types from bamboo huts on stilts to converted buses! The rooms are positioned around a big lake and landscaped gardens which are exceptionally well kept. We stayed in one of the thatched huts which had a lake view. The room was perfect - plenty of space including a hanging rail and wardrobe for clothes, plus big bathroom / wet room. There were a few mozzy’s but the room had an electric fly swat if you were quick enough to catch them. Our favourite thing to do was to sit on the terrace with a coffee in the morning and soak up the view! We also liked the fact there were picnic benches dotted around the lake if you wanted to sit and chill. The other thing to mention is that there’s Wi-Fi connectivity everywhere you go around the resort which is really handy. There are 2 improvements this resort could make which I feel would really positively impact them. One is the food… whilst there are a vast array of menu options, I think it would work in their favour to offer fewer but better quality dishes. The breakfast would also benefit from fresh pastries and bread options. Secondly, whilst the pool is absolutely stunning (it really is picture perfect overlooking the lake), there are only 5 sun beds which, during really busy periods, means there’s nowhere to relax in the sun once they’re all taken (the picnic benches are under trees which suits their purpose). A little jetty out onto the lake with additional beds would be fabulous! The hotel is situated near a few towns, all of which are accessible (and cheap) by taxi which the hotel can call for you. I would definitely recommend staying here for a few days, it’s perfect to relax and unwind!
